Hi everyone!

I've successfully managed to get an interview for Duty Station Manager with Chiltern at Birmingham New Street.

Does anyone know what the interview process consists of and does anybody know or have any further information on the role itself?

The email I received said this ‘the interviews will be a rotation of interviews and OPC assessments. Following successful completion of the interviews, everyone will then be given half an hour to complete the SQR’.

If I’m successful I’ll be relocating so wanting as much information as possible.

I have interview for a different station but also had different information
Hi! What information did you have? I was given the wrong information. I was told it would be held and based at New Street. Luckily I clarified and double checked as I know they don’t base themselves from there.

When is your interview for them?

Also interviewing for this role - have interviewed for the same role previously. Last time was a typical competency 1 to 1 interview, followed by some tests on a laptop. The one I remember was a ticketing task in which you had to ‘sell’ passengers the right ticket inline with the information given in the task (on peak or off peak etc). Then a presentation based on some audit data and how you would improve the scores. Though I haven’t received the presentation info/data yet, concerning as the interview is in two days!
