Does anyone know if the GA 720s in the new livery are only operating on the west anglia side or might we see them over on the great eastern?
I’ve seen 720501 on the Southend branch this week so they are being used on the Eastern side.

It has also visited Clacton, Ipswich, and Braintree.I’ve seen 720501 on the Southend branch this week so they are being used on the Eastern side.
Where do you stand on trains being branded as Thameslink or Southern? Or more locally, when Stansted Express stock was branded separately?
On the other end, 357008 & 020 are currently parked at Shoeburyness depot.357201 was parked at East Ham depot this evening.
Possibly but both GA and c2c were good operators anyway.Wasn't it said a while ago that individual operating units of DfTO had to earn the right to use the GBR name and livery? Has that been quietly forgotten?

Yeah, that was the idea, but I imagine that's been forgotten because it's totally ridiculous and would lead to certain brands sticking around years after GBR actually exists and isn't DFTO anymore.Wasn't it said a while ago that individual operating units of DfTO had to earn the right to use the GBR name and livery? Has that been quietly forgotten?
On a slightly different subject, there is a big electronic poster ad for GBR at Tiverton Services on the M5 at the moment (next to Tiverton Parkway station). The thing is, only Cross Country and GWR serve Tiverton Parkway, and they are both currently still privately operated.
It was also a ridiculous idea because despite the UK Government and the London based media pretending otherwise, GBR will not exist as a single brand across the entirety of Britain.Wasn't it said a while ago that individual operating units of DfTO had to earn the right to use the GBR name and livery? Is this the first time a 720 has been to Kings Lynn since the services were cut?If anyone is interested 720144 will be running to King's Lynn and back very soon.
Yes, and it wont be up here again. Is this the first time a 720 has been to Kings Lynn since the services were cut?
Theres been a load of 387 379 pantographs damaged on gn units and they cant figure out whats causing it.Why is it going to Kings Lynn?
It's the same one that was unveiled at Liverpool Street. They haven't released any trains with GBR interiors yet.Any interior differences?
Not even a poster or two? Pity. It's the same one that was unveiled at Liverpool Street. They haven't released any trains with GBR interiors yet.
There are some branded maps floating about. Not even a poster or two? Pity.
I didn't see any changes, and I walked along most of the train in order to get the photo of the coupling. It's all still in the fetching grey, silver and red for now. :PAny interior differences?
I'm intrigued as to what will happen to the classic L&SE (ex-NSE) map when GBR takes charge. Will a design more than 30 years old continue under the new order? There are some branded maps floating about.
Not quite sure although that’s possibly one for another thread.I'm intrigued as to what will happen to the classic L&SE (ex-NSE) map when GBR takes charge. Will a design more than 30 years old continue under the new order?
The whole train hasn't been done has it... just the outer driving coaches? I remember Class 455 unit 5856 in (a better) Legoland livery back in the day701006 hasn't been out for nearly a week, and the other specially-liveried 701 (701060, in lehgoland branding) for almost as long
Cirrect - just the end cars on 701060.The whole train hasn't been done has it... just the outer driving coaches?
