Thanks for changing the colour on the non-NR lines - much clearer!

One thing - I'm currently looking at Northallerton station complex and quite a few of the black lines around there appear "broken" at various zoom amounts. I've tried this on a couple of browsers.

Hi, it may be still propagating the assets online - looks like yours is missing the tunnels/bridges. Maybe try doing a hard refresh (ctrl+shift+f5) otherwise it may be a waiting game. I'm seeing this:

Well done! I love it. You’ll get loads of corrections so I’m reluctant but, you’ve upgraded the branch line to Swanage from heritage to NR.

That's ok, I welcome the feedback. I'm finding it fun chasing the inconsistencies and learning about new stations/railway lines. I actually changed the data sources a little to get the new stops, I'm implementing a rule now that should re-classify the preserved lines. I'm sure there will be more feedback

OK, this is really odd - If I zoom in to the north end of the station it "fixes" itself, but then on zooming out again, at a certain zoom level it "breaks" again and ends up looking like the image I posted (I get the tunnels/bridges now though).

I can't get the south end to "fix" itself at all, though (see below - top and bottom end fixed, south junction still "off")

I've tried this on Firefox/Chrome/Edge on my desktop and Firefox/Chrome/DuckDuckGo on my phone - same on all of them. Very strange!

It also fixed the other example I found (Low Fell Junction to Norwood Junction).

there are a number of stations on Chiltern not showing up, it's all the ones that are operated by LUL so Amersham, Chalfont and Latimer, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Harrow on the Hill, South Ruislip and West Ruislip

Have added these - there is a decision here of weather or not to do anything with pure tube stations. That was the reason they weren't present because they were marked as tube but actually they are tube/national rail interchanges so i added them in.

Could you give an example? I am de-duplicating by station name, is it possible the station you saw has two seperate physical entrances?

Ah, good that must have happened when I switched the stations data source earlier this morning.

I have also added a bunch more features like Former/closed stations and links to station Wikipedia pages when you click the dots.

What AI usage are you referring to? The data isn’t generated using AI. I have added a new page with information about where the data is sourced and what libraries I have used to build the site: https://trainmap.co.uk/attribution.html

I decided to inline the data, so that it loads with the page. Its all static assets at the end of the day, hosted on Amazon S3, I could load the JSON in a separate request, there wouldn't be a huge benefit to doing so.

That's strange. I'm paying Amazon for an SSL certificate so that shouldn't happen. It shows as secure everywhere I have tried it, I'm guessing this must be something on your network side.

Thanks for checking, I tried with a certficate checker web site and all is perfect. The problem was with EE Web Protect which I had turned on when I changed Broadband from BT. I switched off Web Protect and all working well.

This may be because its quite new and unknown, I know virus systems like to flag things they don't know about because they can't be sure. If you let me know which virus scanner it is I can maybe see if there is a way for me to send the site URL to them directly so they can learn about it.

I like the live trains map. In particular, providing the click-through from the map to RealTimeTrains is a very, very sensible move.

Haha yeah that is a funny glitch. I think it would be better to leave it like that for now, the alternative is to have it stay still, or until it catches up (if the latest position is behind where it currently is) or jump the train back instead of animate back. I do like watching the trains move in an animated way though, especially when they have the carriages (not all of them do) but its quite fun to see the number of trailing carriages for the ones that provide the data.

I also have added a routes button so you can see the reach of how far you can get directly from any station. I'm working on refining this as its not very aware of dates at the moment and just takes all passenger routes that are in the timetables that aren't closed, never the less i still am finding it fun to use.
