Hello everyone. Hope you’re all well. I’m new here and just starting to prepare ready for the next time GA advertise a position for Norwich Crown Point.
I have to admit that I’m a bit daunted, now I’ve realised quite how insanely difficult it’ll be to make the cut!
Hope you all get the news you’re after soon.

Ooooo, where for
Can I ask what area or station you applied for? Plus who did the email come from? Thanks in advance
Well done. Did they give you time frame indications?
I would not like to share the location (I may also be moving soon), but it came from no-reply.greater-anglia@pinpoint.email. It says this:
Following the online assessment (situational judgement test) that was sent to you in May, I can confirm that you have passed.

What this now means is that you are being held in a pool of applicants awaiting the next stage, the psychometric testing. There are 2 stages to this part of the process, and you must pass both if you are to be invited for an interview.

Please be aware that we cannot guarantee that your application will progress to this stage due to the volume of applications received and that the requirements for each location advertised can and will vary throughout the year.

The recruitment process for trainee mainline/depot drivers differs to the process for most other positions as it requires several stages for a candidate to complete in order to meet the required industry set standard as well as it being a continuous process as we recruit for various courses throughout the year. This is why we will not be able to provide specific timescales on when or if you will be contacted to progress to the next stage.

Please note that your application for this vacancy will be valid for 1 year.

Well done! This waiting malarkey's going to be torture (assuming I pass the paper sift). I've extended in the Armed Forces until Oct 2030 now, so hopefully that's enough time to see how it goes and plan for something else when I leave if it doesn't work out! I've got a question about the SJT if you don't mind?... How2Become say the test will either ask for a) the most appropriate choice, b) the most and least appropriate choices or c) rank all four in order from most to least appropriate. Can you let me know what you were asked for in your answers? Cheers.

The most appropriate choice. The questions seem to be primarily about safety-related tasks.

Just got the same response which i thought was a discreet 'thanks but no thanks' directed to me, but looks like the templated response to everyone. Good luck all!

I got the same email; however, I’ve already passed the psychometric tests when I applied to GTS with the OPC. I can’t find an email address, so I can't inform them of that—the emails I have sent messages to don't reply. Has anyone received an email that they have a reply from?

I don't believe they will send you to do the evaluation again. I don't think it expires that quickly.

Same here… either we missed the slots, I checked an hour after I received the email, or there is a glitch with the booking system. Hoping it’s the latter!

Quoted directly from the assessment invitation email:

“Please ensure you have booked your slot as soon as possible as these are available on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS, if you are unable to attend, please contact us immediately otherwise your application will be withdrawn from the process.”

I believe you may have missed the window of opportunity for the first batch. Hopefully you can secure a position in the next one

Hi Guys just to update again I got a email to book assessment centre. Kindly check your inbox as well.
I received another email again also today, but still received the same message! Were you able to book a slot this time around?

This is for Part Two psychometric testing at OPC in Watford.
