I am told that 93 001 will be the traction for 345 071's delivery run today.

That'll be a very interesting combination for photographers. :)

It seems to have several long dwells, multiple loco runarounds and lots of pathing time.
Including 55 minutes at Nuneaton, 20 minutes by Bletchley, 42 minutes by Acton Main Line, and 40 minutes by West Ealing

Looks like there was a VST move to Hither Green this morning (0Z39), could the loco for this have had to go on that?

Would it have taken the best part of 2 hours to cancel it after 0Z39 left? Then of course there is the speculation on here about what loco was booked in for the Old Oak movement. 99001 or an unidentified 93.

345071 and 345072 both observed this morning inside the test shed at Litchurch Lane.

And with the MML now open can we expect a path to be announced (again) for 071 in the near future?

On Wednesday it was powered up in the test shed. So maybe it is not actually ready for delivery.

Passing Oak Old Common at 15:12 today (15/07/2026), the class 37 on the rear of 345071 was still there.

Looks like 345071 is moving again tomorrow as 5Q72 2245 Old Oak Depot to Wembley Inter City Depot.

Are there diagrams for the testing somewhere? I did check the relevant forum board but couldn't see anything on there?
