Would seem so, 168214 and 168329 have those lower front parts in the new grey as well
The /0s are in worse state, on the whole, than their classmates. Not sure what the hold up with 168005 is though! That one went way before 108 did, although I'd imagine the /0s would be in a worse state than the others are.
I had made one back on page 10 of the thread, although it's a bit outdated now and I need to go back to it.Sorry if I've missed it - has anybody put together a list of the refurbed 168s yet? Trying to cobble together one of my own but I won't bother if it's already been done.
There was a situation that required a boxing in of a cab.Okay I feel like I'm missing something here but according to RTT, 168329 actually re-entered passenger service on the 22nd? It's not been out since but is showing as working with 168001 for the whole afternoon, and given how it's usual training run went into the same platform as 168001 and then went back out minutes later on 1H53, it appears it might have actually happened?
They can keep the 0/s , absolute junk. There's a post on the XC 170 thread from LinkedIn showing that 168108 at least looks visibly finished, so hopefully won't be long until that one comes back. Not sure what the hold up with 168005 is though! That one went way before 108 did, although I'd imagine the /0s would be in a worse state than the others are.
CrossCountry XC Class 170 refurbishment
Had a refurbished unit yesterday and something was wrong with the seat I was sat in. There seemed to be padding missing from the seat back as the cloth was a bit loose and I could feel the metal seat frame. Moved to the seat opposite and it was fine. Presumably some sort of quality control...www.railforums.co.uk
Edit: Speaking of which, paths have now appeared for a swap over.

Honestly don't know how to do that, if I even can.Is it possible to pin this to the top of the first page of this thread? It would be super handy.
There will be 4 4 car 168s ending in Banbury tonight instead of the usual 2, 002, 106, 107 & 216, so I think it's very possible the run will actually happen this time.If it runs, then 168005 should be coming back on the 13th with another unit heading off.
I could try and edit my first post and quote it?Is it possible to pin this to the top of the first page of this thread? It would be super handy.
I believe that's the only way, I can't find any option to do it on my end.I could try and edit my first post and quote it?
