Well, if they are that committed to zero emissions and that at a higher priority than running a profitable business that meets their customers needs, just don't have freezers at all and we can all live on tinned food or cook from fresh. Oh, but they closed all the fresh food counters to put everything into pre-packed trays in chilled cabinets didn't they. Of course if every supermarket is in the same position the customer has no choice but to suck it up.Problem with newer systems they are specified lowest possible for energy efficiency so when things heat up there’s not much spare capacity for the refrigeration packs to kick out.
Also doesn’t help that many stores often have their refridgeration packs on the buildings roof in prime heat all day!
