This thread is for engineering (NSA, Gearbox, Engines, Interiors etc) and fleet (repaints, depot moves, withdrawals, scraps, etc) updates of Stagecoach East Midlands (also known as Lincolnshire RoadCar in the old days, and KHCT for Hull). This thread is NOT about the operations, services or timetable aspects of the company, as stated in the title it is on the engineering side.

Those who want to talk about operations, services or timetables should go to the normal, Stagecoach East Midlands thread (this thread is meant to stop any confusion that may arise from a thread name attracting a mismatched crowd of enthuasists and casual passengers).

Let me start with an introduction to Stagecoach East Midlands from a engineering POV

The fleet and any engineering issues are integral to the operations of any fleet, so not sure why this particular operator needs to have two separate threads, when there’s likely to be lots of crossover.

Reason for its creation was due to the confusion from the vague one that arose from people always talking about the fleet side, and people were expecting less technical topics when reading

So I created this one to solve that problem so its crystal clear what each thread is for

True, however they do work at Skegness when not needed by Grimsby hence why I put Skegness but I'll edit it to be more correct now.

10908 Expected with Heating issues with 10909, but 909 has been out today , don't know how accurate the heating issues are so take this with a pinch of salt - Grimsby

10908 was meant to be getting a repaint at Pickering iirc.

But the MMCs seem to have a lot of heating issues (26255 started off like that)

19045 is currently out of service at Hull for unknown reasons

Last did the 5 on 5th June, 11 days ago
Hull also have 11768 which hasn’t been in service since 8th June. But looking at the tracking it didn’t finish its last run that day and spend half an hour in one spot.

10908 is at Pickering repaint into pride or poppy livery. 10909 is back out after an incident last week which is why we had 36116
Would make sense for poppy , I don’t think we’re gonna get pride here and sad to see 36116 go again don’t know why we just don’t keep it due to the B7’s

Yeah no sense of loaning buses until Hulls arrive in July but it could get delayed so no point I'd say keeping it for now makes sense.

Any updates on Mansfields next bus for repaint?
If any bus is going to be repainted, it is 37001, since it had a thermal accident (I'm aware it is most likely going to get withdrawn), which Mansfield will repaint if the bus is damaged enough. Otherwise, Mansfield will only take transfers to be repainted (Notts on demand) or any buses that were pre-painted (such as the MAN for 141).
