Does anyone know what buses East Midlands are sending to Silverstone this year?
As far as im aware a couple E400MMCs from Hull are going (believe 11693 being one)
But not sure what else

There is an electric single decker out on service 3 - I know because it passed my house a while ago, but tracking data from bustimes.org seemed to indicate that it was 19636 which it could not have been based on my own eyes

It would be because that’s the only sprinter in that livery with EM
I have also heard that 10540/41 are also due from Midlands as well. I think there maybe some other ones due as well but not sure.

Any ideas what intended depot? I would assume Grimsby if the plan is to bin off the last old Urbans knocking around but I maybe wrong
Not sure which depot they are for but I don’t think Grimsby as they are due some MMCs from Hull once electrics are in service. But maybe could go to Worksop as they already have some SN16s and they have some MX56s Enviro400s which could do with replacement.

There is more than just 10540/41 due but not sure on the actual number but I think they are all SN16 plates and they will be split between Lincoln and Worksop. But I think these are now coming instead of the 73 plates.

whenever that is , hull seem to be taking a while for the EV's i mean they had some out the other day but that was due to shortages with Silverstone aswell.
We are still waiting for the chargers to be hooked up to the grid so the buses can be charged.
Apparently be done within 2 weeks there is something about it on Hull council roadworks page

Grimsby arnt getting MMC’s
There is a high chance that the MMC's from Hull will end up replacing the older Enviro 400s and the Volvos. Many of the older Enviro 400s have stopped receiving newer technologies, such as QR code scanners, and next stop announcements that have not been installed on them show that they are nearing the end of their life soon. Additionally, any buses that range from 1 Jan 1973 to 30 Sep 2014 that still don't have any next stop announcements have until 1 October 2026 (around 3 months) to get them installed, and the older Enviro 400s, Volvos, or MANs that still lack this feature will most likely not have it installed now.
On a side note about Mansfield, there is a chance that a temporary site has been found to store the buses while they demolish the main site. I believe this since I was on a bus that had broken down, and when an engineer arrived, the driver asked if they wanted the bus to be stored in the main depot or the second site. I'm not 100% sure since this could just refer to different depots, like a workshop to get the bus fixed or to store it in the bus station. The bus wasn't broken down to the point that it couldn't be driven, but there was a warning light, so the driver couldn't drive it with passengers.

There only trials until the chargers are connected
hence why there not on routes Electrics are meant to be on as they have to be back earliesh to be charged on slow chargers for now
