These days everything stops at Habrough, except that is, for the Northern "Fish & Chips Special" (Sheffield to Cleethorpes via Retford) weekdays only parliamentary service.
Once upon a time, Habrough was only served by the Barton stopper, Grimsby Town to Newark (which back then were only half a dozen or so a day) and 1 in 2 or 3 of the TransPennine services. One train every 2 to 3 hours, compared to today's 2 trains an hour most of the day - how times change!
