A selection of new electric cars at an obviously electric car event on Weymouth seafront, there was at least one BYD that turned up as I was leaving and very interestingly a Swiss registered LHD Mazda.
Some Deepal's, electric Frontera, Honda E:NY 1, Micra electric and a couple of electric Ford's.

Gosh they are two a penny round here, and R5s are 6 a penny.

Meanwhile I saw a sporty EV that I couldnt tell what it was this evening. An MG Cyberster.

That'll be an electric DAF XD.
There's currently 8 of them in the fleet, 4 at Crick and 4 at Warrington, so they're still a fairly rare spot.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure that I can remember the last time I saw an Ariya myself.

I spotted a Nissan Micra EV in Coventry last Friday, and another one earlier this morning.

Did it look a bit like this*? I had the (dis)pleasure or driving one of these for a week in Italy recently. It was awful - especially for mountain passes.


*This one is actually a dr 6.0 (yes, I'd never heard of them either!). It's apparently an Italian rebadge of a Chery Tiggo 7.

Two days ago, I saw a 2026 model Honda Prelude. Its owner didn't want me to photo it; but, my goodness, what a glorious looker.
