There's a path from Central Rivers tomorrow (Monday 1st June) to Carlisle where 222601 should pick up the service path to Euston (1M01).

There's also a path from Widnes to Central Rivers on the same day which should be the next refurbished unit, 222603 based on earlier posts in this thread.

The Widnes - Central Rivers path doesn't seem to have left either

Lumo's website says it is cancelled throughout with either road replacement transport or ticket acceptance in place on alternative services.

Nothing about the return London to Stirling working mind you.
I'll be on the return London to Stirling (as far as Preston) - Avanti have had to step in to get people home

Is this and the thread on EMR's issues with the class 222s an indication that these things coming to ScotRail will be an absolute goat rodeo and things will be worse than with the HSTs! Certainly the 222 threads on this forum do not fill me with hope for the future with regards the inter7city services!
Hopefully ScotRail's more extensive sounding refurb will handle a lot of it, and recent painful experience in taking on and learning a new fleet (when they took the HSTs on) will influence how good a support package they take on and how realistic they are about introducing them to traffic.

Removing them from Hitachi's care will help no end too as that seems to be the root cause of all the issues.

I've lost track. What has caused all the cancellations of a new, trumpeted, service?
They have only one unit available at present. 222s haven't exactly been famed for their reliability recently, so it has, predictably, failed with no spare.

Their singular train is having issues.
Their second one has not yet left Widnes (where they are being refurbished and re-coloured).

No train = no service.
So who determined that launching the service in advance of any conceivable in house backup was a great plan? And should not the infrastructure provider or rail regulator or both have been crying foul?

So is it safe to assume that tomorrows services will be cancelled aswell?
It was sat in Stirling station this morning as I passed through, it wasn't there yesterday but there was a lonely looking lady in a Yellow Lumo jacket looking lost.

Do we know if the 222s can run at the higher MU speeds or the non-EPS speeds? Apologies if already been covered.
