That reminded me of First Buses of Somerset livery from just up the road. One of Exeter's new Volvos, 66114, has been painted into the new "Devon Bus' scheme. Finishing touches are still needed, of course.

Couple that with the fleetnumbers being the same as the First Somerset and Avon Wright Renowns from 1997? It hurts my brain. That reminded me of First Buses of Somerset livery from just up the road.
Exeter's buses were once green.Hang on !
So Cornwall, formerly green Western National has gone red and Devon formerly red Devon General has gone green !
They were twice green - as well as Exeter Corpy, Devon General in the early 1980s had NBC leaf green coloursExeter's buses were once green.
old message but why would they get yutong for exeter if they have e400s for torquay? and 3 can't be much use!Not sure about Volvos but Yutongs should be 83026-35
I don’t know the exact reason but Stagecoach haven’t placed another for Enviro400EVs since the order that included the Torquay ones and seem to have moved mainly moved to Yutong for singles and doubles which has been further illustrated with the recent ScotZEB3 allocation with Stagecoach going for all Yutongs.old message but why would they get yutong for exeter if they have e400s for torquay? and 3 can't be much use!
300: Ilfracombe – Lynmouth – Minehead (Stagecoach)
New service operating until 31 August 2026, replacing the Exmoor Coaster that has operated in previous years. The route will be operated in two connecting parts (change of bus required in Lynmouth) with 3 journeys each way across both sections
Nothing yet on whether or not it will be Open-Top.
Only a single deck? I'd have expected a closed-top double decker at the least.Open-top for the Minehead-Lynmouth section, and single deck for Lynmouth-Ilfracombe.
Only 3 journeys each way too I see, isn’t that partly what lead to the overcrowding when it was First’s Exmoor Coaster?Something that's come up on the Travel Devon website that I thought was worth noting about the new 300:

Yes and also passenger disappointment when, instead of an open top ride, you enx up standing like sardines downstairs for an hour.Only 3 journeys each way too I see, isn’t that partly what lead to the overcrowding when it was First’s Exmoor Coaster?
Basiclly the service is being slowly killed which is a real shame.
This sounds very similar to the service offered over much of at least the last 25 years. One OT operating the Minehead to Lynmouth section. Departures from Minehead expected to be at 09:30, 12:30, 15:30. A connecting 'midibus' operating Lynmouth to Ilfracombe, as per tender, also three return trips per day.
I believe South East are only due to get 15306-15324. The remaining three will remain with Exeter for the Taunton P&R as far as I know. Could have changed but that was true last time I checked.Anyone know what’s planned to take on the Taunton Park and Ride? Heard a rumour South East are getting all the Scania MMC’s now?

No Enviro400EVsIs that due to lack of chargung points and is that old e400?
Where has this source come from?I have heard a rumour that South West might be no longer getting Yutong U11DDs 83023-35 and getting Enviro400s instead
I don't have a specific source it is just what I have heard. If they do get swapped it will be for Enviro400EVs from the 80294-312 batchWhere has this source come from?
Assuming it wouldn't be allocated of them then.I don't have a specific source it is just what I have heard. If they do get swapped it will be for Enviro400EVs from the 80294-312 batch
