So varies massively then I guess, I passed my psychometrics exactly a week ago so I hope I'm not waiting too much longer!

I just got the call to find out I passed my DMI and am now in the talent pool. Andy let me know that for the Birmingham depot, they're expecting to to pull the first 10 from the talent pool to start by the end of the year. They're also expecting a big intake around about Jan to pull majority of the rest through.

Amazing well done! How did you find the interview?

Out of interest how long was the process from application to job offer?

Congrats!

How did you find the interview?
I found it okay to be honest. I had revised a bunch of questions that could've came up beforehand and managed to adapt spare answers for questions I hadn't practiced. Seemed like it went well overall because of this. My interviewers were quite friendly and the interview actually ended in a casual chat about their experiences and career. I didn't realise there was a scoring system until I got the call from Andy and he mentioned it but I made sure to get all the key words in my answers and that seemed to have worked.

That's amazing. Do you recall any of the interview questions by any chance? Was it purely about the company etc or were there competency questions similar to the interview at the end of the psychometric assessment day? Congrats again on making it through!

Hi guys. Sorry if it’s already on here somewhere but just curious if cross country are taking on apprentices in Plymouth as I’ve passed all my tests and assessments and had my DMI last May. Was in the talent pool but got an email today saying the positions are full for 26/27. Obvious to say I’m gutted so now looking for other options.
Thanks for any help

Where are you based? Have you asked them about transferring to a different talent pool
