From the SRPS railtours thread:
Srps is advertising a tour on 6th June Carlisle to Oban with the 45
There's positioning tours day before and after using 37403 taking the stock down from the central belt
Also worth noting this tha same weekend as BLS have their lord of the isle's 50 tour to Oban, although the BLS goes to Oban Sunday
Positioning move is advertised with 37025 (subject to its overhaul being finished) and a friend, which won't be 37403 as it is going for wheelset and bogie attention after the tour to Fort William in May.

At the time of writing, the SPRS mainline operational Class 37 fleet consists of 37025 and 37403. I thought it would be worth setting up a thread to discuss loco-specific activity and movements.

A post on the Class 37 Facebook group (note that member access is required) is reporting that 403 is currently being prepared at Bo'ness for 'standby' duties on Caledonian Sleeper:
37403 "Isle of Mull" being prepped at Bo'ness before heading to Craigentinny for another stint as Caledonian Sleeper standby loco. 10/02/2026

37025 Is Getting a refurbishment. Bogies and tyres getting done up etc.
It's pretty much done from the refurb side and just waiting on it being allowed back onto mainline.

Hello,

Does anyone know what the logistics of the SRPS locos are when they run on the sleeper etc.
Do GBRf staff have route knowledge of the B&KR? Who drives the beds when on 403?

In railways illustrated it was suggested that 37025 could potentially be losing the large logo colours when it returns.

Dutch was mooted & the nameplates are supposedly getting sold too in order to raise some extra wonga.

I am not 100% sure about Large Logo, although there hasn't been any plans to sell the nameplate.
I don't really go into the Diesel Shed often so I couldn't tell you!

Additionally, You can watch Francis Bourgeuis's? tv programme that's on every Tuesday. At the moment they're just up to the stage of November so not that up to date but still, if you're interested in 025 its worth a watch.

The aforementioned Francis B video shows clear evidence of it being in a shiny coat of Large Logo Blue.

One of the plates fitted in 2007 was sold in March

Saw finished 025 yesterday. Was volunteering at Bo'ness and got a sneaky glimpse of 025. Looks fantastic and rumours were that they were doing a test run up the branch today. Anyone know?

Reported elsewhere that 025's turbo seized during the test run on the B&KR.
