We had to cancel our trip to London to stay at a nice hotel for 4 days due to Covid. Therefore, we recently arranged some time ago to go this Tuesday and now find we have a tube strike.
I cannot adequately express my disgust at this action by the RMT who again are holding the public, their paymaster, hostage for their own selfish reasons. I have nothing but contempt for these privileged people who feel that their interests subordinate the rights of ordinary people, many of whom are struggling and I would tell the drivers so to their face. Drivers’ rights do not subordinate the rights and reasonable expectations of people to go about their ordinary business who now face disruption, inconvenience, additional expense and frustration. As for the cost to the economy….
The RMT are 100% responsible for this situation. They cannot blame their employers as I hold both the union and employers jointly and severally responsible. It is a disgraceful approach and a cynical disregard for, and respect shown to their passengers.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.
