The B3 'Brontebus' route from Keighley to Hebden Bridge via Haworth is currently unable to serve Hebden Bridge station due to extensive gas main renewals in Station Road. The local TLC-operated bus routes use vehicles that are small enough to negotiate the temporary chicanes, but the B3s are diverted from Albert Street via New Road to terminate in Hope Street....which is their normal town centre stop for the return journey to Keighley.

Intending rail passengers are therefore left with a 6-10 minutes walk, depending on age, agility and the amount of luggage in tow
TLC buses run every 15 minutes from the station to the town centre, and stop close to where passengers can get on the B3 (although it's split between two routes serving different stops in the town centre, so effectively only every 30 minutes to the station), so passengers who might struggle with the walk do have other options if they know what they are.

I've noticed that Transdev has posted timetables for the 825, 875, M4 & M31 with the respective PDFs. These PDFs are from 2025 (as noted in the bottom corner of the timetables) so don't note that M31 will now start from Langley Gate instead of Water End and follow a different route into York via Bootham instead of Water End. It also notes that the 825 doesn't accept Concessionary Passes, which as of 2026 Is no longer true. The 875 & M4 timetables seem to be the same for 2025 and 2026, so the only thing wrong is the start date in the bottom left corner.
Said PDFs have now been removed...

Five of the new E200 MMCs for Blackburn have been tracking on the 464 today (514, 515, 516, 517 and 518), can anyone confirm if this is the official debut into service of the new buses?

Yes, there are multiple videos online of these in service from yesterday. The 464 branding looks very simple but personally I think the 1 branding on the YX69s stands out better.

Looks like E200 MMCs 519, 520, 522, 523 & 524 are now all in service on the 464.

E200 MMCs 521 & 526 have started tracking on the 464 today.

Does anyone know if Flyer 1512 has ran into problems? Hasn’t tracked since April 1st and they’ve had 1860 out covering.

Comments on Facebook are that 1860 is being used because of vehilce needing a deep clean.

The "temporary" route of the 4 in Harrogate looks like it is permanent. It was meant to use a bus gate to connect to the new hosuing estate it served but their is a planning appliucatiion with North Yorkshire Council seeking deletion of the bus gate as the existing cuc-de-sac giving access is now considered inappropriate for bus. What was to be the bsu link from the new estate will be a footway/cycle path instead.
Link to application details

Does anybody know what became of Blackburn’s final B10BLEs after withdrawal last year? There were a number stored in the depot yard for a time, and there was talk that they might have been considered worthy of resale - did they all go for scrap in the end? On a similar note, are they still running some as driver trainers?

I believe they all went for scrap. There are two B10 trainers left which are due for replacement imminently.

E200 MMCs 525 & 527 seem to have entered service on the 464 based on tracking. Is there any news of when the first Versa is leaving Blackburn?

Looks like E200 MMC 528 has also entered service.
Judging by bustimes I think most are already withdrawn.
Yeah only two have tracked today and a total of four have tracked in April.

E200 MMC 529 has started tracking on the 464 this morning, meaning all 16 of the new E200 MMCs are now in service.

It did. 1071 was preserved from Burnley too but non of the last Blackburn ones were preserved. I believe 1097 is the last to survive as T995.
There's also at least one from the original Burnley batch acquired for preservation after it was withdrawn by it's subsequent operator. I believe it's 1063, after seeing service with Reliance.

Does anybody know what engine/gearbox is in the new MMC200s at Blackburn Depot for 464s? They seem to sound different to other MMC200s I've been on.

Blackburn's fleet list on Bustimes has been updated with the following Versas removed:
282, 283, 284, 286, 287, 288, 289, 290 & 291. So seemingly they have been removed from service. Have any returned to the leasing company yet or are they all still at Blackburn awaiting collection?

Also on Bustimes, the Summer Timetable for the Saturdays Only 75 (Skipton-Malham-Settle) has appeared under Keighley: https://bustimes.org/services/75-cravenlink-skipton-malham-settle
Is this an error with data or is Transdev taking the service over from Lonsdale Buses?

Lonsdale Buses 75 registration is showing as cancelled effective May 1st, so could well be correct, I can't see anything confirming that it will be Transdev but I suspect it will be.
Ah interesting. I can't really see anyone other than Transdev taking on the service apart from North Yorkshire Council as they operate weekday services to Malham.

Theres a new Merc Hybrid demonstrator currently in Scotland with McGills - BV26HWA. Wonder if it might find its way to Starbeck later this year as a new acquisition.

TBH my money was (figuratively) on Env400EV demonstrator AD24ZEB being the next such vehicle to join the fleet permanently (with Harrogate since last summer) but it hasn't tracked since apparently breaking down in Leeds on 1st April...

I saw BV26 HWA on the M40 a couple of weeks back and did a double take as I initially thought it was a Transdev bus (being dark grey) - then realised I wasn’t far from Evobus so assumed it was the new Demonstrator.

Lonsdale Buses seem to be having some issues. A post from Dalesbus the other day said the 580 between Settle and Skipton was dropping out services Monday to Friday and running a reduced service until further notice.

SERVICE UPDATE:

Due to operational reasons Lonsdale Buses regret to inform passengers that the following service 580 journeys will not operate on Monday to Friday until further notice:

Skipton to Settle at 0945, 1145 and 1345

Settle to Skipton at 1030, 1230 and 1430

The 1545 journey from Skipton to Settle, and all other service 580 journeys, will continue to operate as scheduled.

If you have any queries please contact Lonsdale Buses directly.

Edit. A post on "Settle Chat" facebook group suggests the reduction in the 580 is related to the cost of fuel "according to one of the drivers".

It was parked in the yard at Starbeck this afternoon.

Could well be true because someone like Transdev are big enough to absorb these costs where as Lonsdale are too small to. Maybe Transdev have been asked by Lonsdale if they would like to step in on a temporary basis, only it seems a weird set of journeys for Transdev to take on and I very much doubt they're subsidised given Lonsdale already operate the rest commercially. I take it Transdev will run the 580 replacement journeys from Keighley using a part time driver, worked around a school conract?
