Yes but isn't that a 'saver half'?
Not any more.
The "Saver Half" was the old, 'complicated', 'confusing' name for the SVH. To keep it simple, the SVH is now called "Off Peak Single". It has the same validity as the SVS (also called "Off Peak Single") but the SVH is around half the price and only available online.
This is designed to ensure you can "buy with confidence" so you "know exactly where you stand". Simple!
Anyway I chose a random c2c station (as the OP doesn't specify which one), Upminster. The Super Off Peak single is
not £30, it is £46. The Anytime Single is £72.
The Super Off Peak single is valid by any train from Upminster, and it is valid on services timed to depart Paddington between 1010 and 1501, and from 1901 on weekdays and any time at weekends. Restrictions also apply to the return journey (but unrestricted from London to Upminster). Different, more restrictive times, apply to journeys via Waterloo/Clapham Jn (which is slower anyway). Unless the OP indicated he wished to travel at a barred time, the £46 ticket must be sold by the ticket office.
