I’m sure you’re frustrated (as are EY) but putting in chargers and working with utility companies is often not straightforward.

It was the same in Harrogate, Arriva Blyth’s deckers arrived in December and still haven’t made it on the road, and Stagecoach in Exeter have similar challenges.

I’m afraid you’ll have to be patient.

From what I have heard and seen 13 E400EVs have arrived so far and all the Yutong E10s have had their registration plates applied now.

Highly doubt they be out before May with all the training on each type and chargers still need connecting up.

I have heard that it could be more like the summer as there is another problem that the council needs to fix before the Enviro400EVs can enter service.

In all fairness that article is absolute rubbish, it's obvious the depot in it's current position cannot be upgraded and a new depot is needed, but does the depot earn enough to demand such capital investment?

In all fairness when the early Enviro 400s and B7RLEs are withdrawn by what I expect will be Enviro 400 MMCs, the fleet isn't actually too bad (just boring from an enthusiast POV)

You mean the fact the interchange needs modifying as the deckers dont fit due to the front being slightly bulbous and the ramp not being able to deploy properly yet.

Yes that’s exactly what I had heard that they don’t currently fit in the interchange which I feel will slow the rollout more.

Yes that’s exactly what I had heard that they don’t currently fit in the interchange which I feel will slow the rollout more.

It May just be a case of moving or adjusting the handrails on the bays if so not a major job.

Hardly worth the cost for a handful of services per day. That said, Hull used to have a lot of minibus routes in the not too distant past with many of those areas now barely served, if at all.

The 17 isn’t a contracted service, it’s commercially operated.

22776 has some sort of issue because I encountered it going Not in Service when it was meant to be doing the 5 and it had its hazards on while driving straight

Plus it had a tracking lapse between Orchard Park Tesco and Ellerburn Avenue where it seems to have given up on the route at some point between the 2 and deadran down Orchard Park Road, then Arctic Ranger where I saw it from, and headed for Tesco assumably for depot.

It was meant to be doing 18:52 5 to Hull Interchange and I saw it heading the other way around 19:20 deadrunning which is NOT normal for a bus to do.
