York Pullman has registered a M6 service (Moorsbus) running on Saturdays, Sundays & Bank Holidays running from the beginning of April until the end of September.

The service will follow the same route as the M6 did from August 2025, running to Danby via Rosedale, although it appears the Norton Loop has been removed. It will start at Acomb Collingham Place instead of York Station, however, taking a rather strange route via Hamilton Drive, mirroring the route of the 16 Monday-Saturday. When I chatted with some of the Moorsbus organisers last year, they stated their intentions to start the M6 before York Station to collect more passengers.

I heard the most bizare thing the other day, a passenger asked one of the First Customer Service assistants at one of the Leeds Park and Ride sites (I won't say which just in case anybody identifies the assistant) if there were any plans to replace the missing frontage at the Boar Lane bus stop. The reply was the bus company and the council arranged for it to be taken away, except for the supporting poles, to stop rough sleepers sleeping in it! Not sure to believe it or not.

this is correct it was the only enclosed shelter on boar lane so was used by the homeless, it got to the point that P+R passengers could no longer use it, so rather than replace with an open sided shelter it was cheaper to remove the panels on the road side of the shelter.

Why would they be repainted? The York Park & Ride livery isn't going. 11 of the 12 have that livery (the 49912 is in Ultraviolet). The Metrodeckers going into Ultraviolet were in a base livery, not Park & Ride.
