I think i've seen at least one over the last few days, though my attention tends to be on old plates for the other thread!

Anybody seen any 26 plates yet (on the road or in a public car park, so excluding any pre registered cars on garage forecourts)?

Yep, saw a 26 ID Buzz yesterday, and a Renault 5 today.

I was going to start a thread called “What happened to the diesel 26s”, but feared three strikes and out from team Mod.

Yes. Though it will not necessarily count

There was a 26 on garage plates on Thursday 26th Feb on the M4 Westbound near Cardiff. I was obviously concentrating on driving so could not photograph it. These days I always tell myself that I will remember things, but I forgot the make. I believe it was Toyota.

10 days in, and I’ve now seen 6 x 26s; 5 EVs and a Toyota Aygo hybrid

Just been to Spain and saw a couple of brands I'd not seen.

Ebro SUV, which appears to be similar set up to MG. Chinese manufacturer (in this case Chery) resurrects an old Spanish brand (Ebro - more known for vans and trucks back in the day) and manufacture new cars.

XEV yoyo Two seater EV looking like an original smart car.

Lots of up votes for the new Renault 5 here. Seen a Fisker thing yesterday, Ocean? Even its small rear windows wound down.

Yellow Renault 5 in the office car park today. First yellow one i've seen in the wild, all the others i've seen have been the black one.

I saw one of those in Lidl carpark yesterday, didn't know what it was until i could see the name on the back.

Dacia Springs aren't so nice when you're actually inside them!
I've seen a review of it, didn't seem much worse than my Sandero.

Following on from the 5 yesterday, someone has parked an Alpine A290 in the car park today, in a rather lovely deep blue as well. Looks amazing.

I was behind an Omoda at traffic lights a couple of weeks ago.
Wasn't really paying attention and misread it as "Commode".
Maybe I don't need to go and get my eyes tested?

Renault 5s and Alpines are two a penny round here. I see at least 3-5 a day (and not all the same few!)

It might just be me.
But, I don't think even vans used to be that ugly.
I don't find it that bad, though the black bulge wrapped round the bottom of the windscreen does remind me of the first incarnation of the Fiat Multipla*, which was also, erm, visually challenged for some. Vans are basically rectangular boxes and it must be difficult to make them distinctive without adding some degree of oddness.

*(the 1999 version, not the 1960s oddity)
