As a companion to my other thread - new car models you see out and about.

I will open the bidding with a BYD Seal fully electric saloon.

I've seen a seal too, the boss has one.
A few Nissan's, Mazda's and Volkswagen's as one of my walks goes past a couple of dealers.
Also a Hyundai Inster, didn't like the styling on that.

Saw my first Renault 5 EV a few weeks ago, then a few days later another. Gorgeous car.

Also saw a Dacia Spring for the first time recently, really nice.

Despite the constant videos of new cars I see online and how they are all world beaters, out on the streets they are rare as hens teeth.

New Renault 5, Inster, Dacia Spring - have seen one of each. I've seen the same number of Lotus EVs but that is someone I know who is a car finance broker so has access to test cars.

Dacia Spring isn't a vehicle I'd want to be in in an accident and I've done tens of thousands of miles in smart cars!

Saw my first ever citroen ami
in Doncaster today, I really admire the simplicity of these, makes a refreshing change from the oversized over complicated creations that are taking over the roads

I've seen quite a few new Renault 5s lately, but there was one parked across the road yesterday in a very striking shade of green.

This utterly gorgeous Lamborghini Revuelto (2025's 1001hp hybrid) park up next to me, at our local farm foods shop. Its driver said that it is one of five examples on UK's roads.

It's a right hand drive. The Italian registration plate is the very same reg as the example in UK car mags (Evo website image attached), so it's the UK press demonstrator car.

I was in the Netherlands recently and saw a Zeekr 7x, which I'd never even heard of before.

I also saw quite a number of micro cars, including the Opel rocks-e. I'd never seen one of them before either.

Even smaller than a micro car, I should have mentioned I saw a nearly new Maeving electric motorbike this week.

Saw an electric Lotus today although it was more of a SUV than the roadsters of days gone by.

An Alfa Romeo Junior.

Had no idea what it was until I looked it up, but no doubt its some sort of Fiat, Vaushall, Jeep or Peugeot in a different dress. I doubt I'll see another soon.

Seen a couple of Jaecoo electric SUVs recently.
I've seen a few too.

A brand new KGM Musso at a dealer outpost (so no registration plate) in Wareham. Looks a lot better than Ssanyong's of old!

Saw a Dacia Spring parked in Hagley, first time been able to see one properly, great looking car though pretty diddy, seems noticeably smaller than my Sandero.

Saw - and heard - a Hyundai Ioniq 5 N yesterday.

Obviously the Ioniq 5 is quite common. But I hadn’t seen the N, nor heard it when it is being driven ‘entusiastically’. Very strange to hear an EV go through the gear changes as it flies past you! The acceleration was remarkabl, one second it was behind me, a couple of seconds later it was past and gone (but could still hear it)

The speakers must have been turned up to 11!

Leapmotor B10. The nearest Vauxhall dealer now has the franchise, which is not surprising as Leapmotor is an arm of Stellantis. They also have MG, a competitor to Leapmotor and Stellantis on the same site.

Jaecoo E5. The nearest Hyundai dealer has Jaecoo within the group. Officially at another site but in reality both on the same forecourt.

Edit 12/02/26 to add

Renault 4 EV

This BMW i7 seen just now. Styling and paintwork are a bit - well - divisive...o_O
I love the i7. That huge grille that other people hate. And it has a shape that looks like a proper saloon rather than some nondescript futuristic streamlined blob.

I'm surprised at how many times I've spotted Fisker Oceans. Given that Fisker went bust, whoever bought one of those is obviously rather brave to do so!

Anybody seen any 26 plates yet (on the road or in a public car park, so excluding any pre registered cars on garage forecourts)?
