Looks like Esk Valley 23013 (N12 ESK) & 23027 (PO68 BYJ) are also on lease to East Yorkshire, as both have been tracking on the BC1 between Scarborough & Bishop Burton today.Seeing as nobody has said it yet; Procters 21046 904 YUF has been seen on the 900 Tesco Contract operated by main East Yorkshire.
Apparently something to do with a Rail Replacement and EY needing extra coaches.

The changes come in during February I believeI noticed that the 35 is being retimed (again) according to bustimes.org... Is there an updated timetable for it as the EYMS site doesn't seem to have it or is it too early?
Yes, I just wondered if the website's timetable page for the 35 shows it if you adjust the times or if it will be laterThe changes come in during February I believe
Legally the data should already be being sent to Bus Open Data, but the good folk at East Yorkshire think that open data laws don't apply to them, and thus haven't updated in time (data is now 2 weeks late)I noticed that the 35 is being retimed (again) according to bustimes.org... It won't as they havent uploaded that information to the website yet.Yes, I just wondered if the website's timetable page for the 35 shows it if you adjust the times or if it will be later
Dalesbus is set to start on 5th April (Easter Sunday) so we'll see if EY will continue to run the 822 from Pocklington. In other possible EYMS updates and changes, I suppose the good news is that if they run the Moorsbus again (hopefully with less breakdowns compared to 2025), it starts on Good Friday which is April 3rd unless they do Bank Holidays and Sundays only
EY's data (incorrectly) displays the 18 running out of York via Waggons & Horses and then Hull Road, instead of Fulford Road. In fact, only one journey on the 18 is inputted as running along Fulford Road.Legally the data should already be being sent to Bus Open Data, but the good folk at East Yorkshire think that open data laws don't apply to them, and thus haven't updated in time (data is now 2 weeks late)

Is that why sometimes when there's timetable changes and I go on Google Maps and select one of the stops for that route, it can go for weeks saying 'No upcoming departures'?Legally the data should already be being sent to Bus Open Data, but the good folk at East Yorkshire think that open data laws don't apply to them, and thus haven't updated in time (data is now 2 weeks late)

It's only Saturdays that the 18s are messed up and show as running out via Hull Road and even then the first and last trips show normally via Fulford Road. Not sure where you are seeing different?EY's data (incorrectly) displays the 18 running out of York via Waggons & Horses and then Hull Road, instead of Fulford Road. Ah, used to be also on weekdays so something has been done evidently. It's only Saturdays that the 18s are messed up and show as running out via Hull Road and even then the first and last trips show normally via Fulford Road. Not sure where you are seeing different?
When I complained regarding the lack of service updates, Ben Gilligan personally (in an email) directed me to the personalised travel alerts. These are just notifications of service updates, and if there are no service updates there are no travel alerts. Really frustrating.East Yorkshire are just a shambles now and reminds me very much of Go East Anglia with their lack of care for anything and everything. Then again, do we really expect much better when the commercial team is headed up by someone who was 'head of network and efficiency' at First West Yorkshire for 5 and half years prior to joining EY.
I think that's just down to data issues more broadly as opposed to specifically around service changes - a couple of the Go North East routes had a similar problem of not showing on Google Maps for a good few days earlier this month, despite being unchanged. I would imagine the issues are related because GNE and EY presumably use similar back office systems, having been so closely intertwined during the 2018-2022 period. Is that why sometimes when there's timetable changes and I go on Google Maps and select one of the stops for that route, it can go for weeks saying 'No upcoming departures'?

I know that I am others are fed up of reporting such issues. Sadly they don't give a stuff and the GoAhead Group Data Manager and Director of Bus refuse to hold them accountable.

I can't find this at all. Where exactly is this data you're seeing? It's only Saturdays that the 18s are messed up and show as running out via Hull Road and even then the first and last trips show normally via Fulford Road. Not sure where you are seeing different?
Google maps has many different data sources and as it's not transparent about where it gets it's data from, I wouldn't want to comment. Where I can and will happily criticise them though is on their open data on both BODS and their website open data page (which is the same information that is in their website and app)Is that why sometimes when there's timetable changes and I go on Google Maps and select one of the stops for that route, it can go for weeks saying 'No upcoming departures'?
Slandering would be to make false comments, which I'm not. First West Yorkshire didn't really care for anything during the time that he was head of network, other than when WY Metro was leading something (Ie Leeds City). And the same is happening now at East Yorkshire since he joined, a lack of care for anything. He put on his Linkedin that he was 'responsible for legal compliance' at FWY, but yet East Yorkshire is still failing to send data to BODS within the legal timeframe (and when they do, there are bugs with it) and Proctors still hasn't updated their data once since East Yorkshire took over. That's not slander, it's facts backed up by BODS (https://data.bus-data.dft.gov.uk/timetable/?organisation=401&status=live) and that is despite multiple registration changes since then. Are you slandering this person, or the role he held at FWY?

Organisation which the individual is a director. And as a director who was "responsible for legal compliance" in his previous role, should know about BODS compliance and to consistently fail to comply with it, is shocking behaviour. There are firms now being fined and having their licences cut over open data issues. The fact that hasn't nudged him to sort things out, says a lot about him and his lack of care.So the organisation not the individual.
