I'll share the usual 810 Saturday diagram just for reference, but I do believe (as an educated guess) it will be a 222 tomorrow

DY701
5B25 0800 XEP NOT 0839
1B25 0850 NOT STP 1027
1D31 1105 STP NOT 1251
1B52 1312 NOT STP 1454
1D53 1535 STP NOT 1709
1B79 1750 NOT STP 1927
1D96 2005 STP NOT 2148
5D96 2211 NOT XEP 2250

tfw756rider, you are right in thinking the journey you linked should be an 810, but whether it actually will be remains to be seen when allocations come out
This diagram should be an 810 tomorrow, along with a Sheffield diagram too but I don't have the exact timings!

Will this be the first time a class 810 has run via Erewash in passenger service?

The first of those appears to be 222 020 and the second 222 003, unfortunately, according to RTT.

It looks like 810 012 did do the first part of DY702, though.

Good morning. Are there any 810s out today? I'm travelling from London to Nottingham later and will flex if I can catch one. Thanks in advance.

S Yorks, usually
810010 showing on RTT allocated to the 1026 Derby-Nottingham etc
810012 ditto for the 1015 Leicester to Sheffield etc
(found by putting the numbers into RTT’s search box)

I was on 1B25, which was the 0850 out of Nottingham, the unit took 3/4 minutes at all 3 stops so wondered if the unit had an issue preventing quicker dispatches at all 3 stations.
Noticed it went empty to Etches Park an hour later.

Am I right in thinking that no 810 has yet operated a passenger service which stops south of Kettering? Clearly the opportunities are limited, but they are more abundant on a Sunday morning.

The practical issue would appear to be that the early Sunday services are booked for 10-car formations, other than 1D03 0900 St Pancras International to Nottingham which is a 7-car stabled at Cricklewood.

DY02 has 810012 today, currently on 10:35 Sheffield- St P.

According to RTT, 810010 started the other diagram with 07:00 from Sheffield, but only got to Chesterfield. Terminated there due to a problem with onboard safety system, then empty to Etches Park. RTT shows the diagram restarting from Derby with the 13:10 to Sheffield.

I'm trying to understand the current status of diagrams booked for an 810 and I also think it would be helpful to get all the current diagrams in one place. From various posts on here, am I correct in thinking that currently the diagrams below are the ones that are booked 810 and that there are 2 Mon-Fri diagrams, 2 on a Saturday and 2 on a Sunday?

Not the most critical of matters but I wondered if there is a particular reason why an image of the 810 does not appear at the top of the RTT page for a service when operated by 810 as compared with all other EMR services that show the unit concerned? (as per post #68 by @Peter Mugridge helpfully showing the current presentational style which of course resolves the issue)

Also - thanks to all for keeping this thread helpfully updated with the state of play!

Just to ask - is this a regular scheduled intended Sunday 810 diagram? (of course subject to usual changes for engineering work etc)

Yes except 5B12 has since been replaced with 2A56 so the 810 now works in service from Derby to Nottingham

When I look in RTT at present it seems like all the 810 services show up as "VAR" in the STP column, which makes it easy to identify them without consulting the diagrams. I realise of course that other non-810 services could show up as "VAR" for other reasons, but is it true that every 810 service is currently shown as "VAR"? If so I wonder how long this will continue, as it's quite useful!

You can also identify them in the "simple" view by them being listed as "East Midlands Railway" rather than "EMR Meridian". That also seems to be visible on the mobile version of the "detailed" view but not the PC one.
