Help with potential prosecution on Elizibeth line

I wonder if GTR routinely issue penalty fares and MG11s for journeys that took place on the Elizabeth Line but it's not beyond their remit to do so.
There is nothing to stop them doing either as long as they do them right. The penalty fares would need to be a flat £100 and issued under TfL's scheme, and the MG11s under TfL byelaws.

Same here. On my honeymoon, 28 years ago, we'd taken a day trip from Frankfurt to Heidelberg. Because the train back was an ICE, Germany's not particularly high speed train, we had to pay a fairly hefty penalty even though, as far as I was concerned, I was just using my return ticket to get back on a train.
Memory of those fast train surcharges on ICE trains etc.
