Just to illustrate my point made yesterday concerning the Stagecoach Mansfield 141 service. There are currently only 3 out of 5 buses tracking this morning. I can only presume that all 5 buses are out on the route, but it doesn’t give you much confidence that a bus will definitely turn up if you are waiting in a rural location for a bus on this hourly service.
Edit. Just to add one of the 3 buses which was tracking appears to have been swapped for a different bus at Mansfield Bus Station and is now running towards Nottingham approx 20 minutes late.

I looked at bus times earlier and only three buses were reporting. One of these had not reported for ten minutes and another was about 60 minutes late. This one suddenly became on time. Looks like GPS was saying it was heading to Sutton when in fact it was on its way back. Just come in and looked again - all five are reporting and broadly speaking, on time. Another route with iffy reports is Mansfield -Newark which can fail to report accurately on regular occasions.

Update 1400 ish.A 141 is parked up on A60 in Ravenshead with flashers on. Rather despairing looking driver alongside. An earlier Bustimes check showed 28/29 all over the place on times, some impossible! with one bus short, one 28B missing and one 218 missing that I spotted. 6 in Mansfield often only shows 2 of 3 vehicles. I think there has to be reporting issues alongside anything else.

27194 has now had a repaint. Apparently tracking in Mansfield on Thursday don’t know if it is actually there however

That perhaps explains what happened to the bus I was waiting for yesterday afternoon. I was waiting for the bus to Nottingham which comes through Linby at 1340 and it never turned up. It wasn’t tracking so had no idea what had happened to it. I went back home and got the next one at 1440. We passed a bus heading in the opposite direction standing at a bus stop heading towards Hucknall on Papplewick Lane so they must have started one back to Mansfield from there. Things really have not been good on the route these last few weeks.
That fits, Chris C. Tho’ I would have thought a replacement would go to Top Wighay to pick up. It may be they sent a man and a van who gave it a quick kick up the proverbial (Leyland National style) and it came back to life! I do feel the newcomers seem more unreliable than others but there could be various reasons for that I guess. These days I do not use 141, being on the Prontos, but as a regular and dependent passenger you might want the higher echelons of the company to be aware. Depots do not always share the full story with HQ.
The evidence on bustimes for it shows it in the shed in Grimsby and looking at it's tracking on bustimes at Mansfield on Thursday, it looks very sporadic and error like so would assume it's still in GY

went past Grimsby Depot today. Pretty sure now there is 2 fully open top e400s at the far left of the depot. I went past to quick to be 100%

Grimsby and Scunthorpe issue timetables. A big pullout one. Would assume Hull does.

I thought all the electrics for Hull were due next year. Surprised they are going for Yutong double deckers for the second batch. Thought they would standardise on the Enviro 400EVs. Do you know the numbers for Mansfield's second batch?
36 buses in total. 20 double deckers and 16 single deckers

Not as of rn no I can only see Yutong E10s and E400EVs for Mansfield.
Are they hulls new buses with fleet numbers
They are Mansfield's fleet number for the first batch. But I think they are also due another 42 buses (33 Double Deckers and 9 Single Deckers) at some point as part of the extra Zebra 2 funding.

I heard hull was getting Yutongs instead of the ADLs and Hull only getting one batch of Electrics now anyone confirm?
Definitely would be a shame, especially if we get yutong deckers , and would mean another year waiting for electric because we was suppose to get the adl e400 ev in march, and probably later knowing stagecoach in Hull

When is mansfield due there's?
I would be surprised as the information has been publicly announced in terms of numbers so the only way I would see it being one batch now is if the plan is that the buses from the ZEBRA 2 and the extra ZEBRA 2 funding both arrive at the same time. Also if Hull are no longer getting the ADLs where will they go instead as they have been ordered and built.
No idea as the ADLs were due last mont I believe
But I also hear the depot is no where near set up for electric buses yet
I'm no longer there so can't confirm this
