With reference to this long-closed topic ....

.... Gatwick Flyaway tickets have reappeared for travel to/from Gatwick Airport via Gomshall from North Downs Line (NDL) stations from Guildford to Reading and from other GWR stations further afield, such as Swindon and Bath Spa.

They are priced for groups of 2, 3 or 4 adults and travel can be made at any time.

Prices from NDL stations:-

£74 from Reading
£69 from Wokingham, Crowthorne, Sandhurst, Blackwater and Farnborough North
£59 from North Camp, Ash, Wanborough and Guildford

Under 16s accompanying the adults travel for £1.

Prices from Swindon, Bath, etc are significantly higher but can still be good value if travelling at peak times.

According to this page - https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ticket-types/tickets/g2f/ - Flyaway tickets can only be purchased from ticket offices and proof of an airline booking may be requested.

This probably explains why Advance Singles from some North Downs Line stations to Gatwick "disappeared" from booking sites a couple of months ago!

To stop them being "abused" by people not flying.ilable u
As if a ticket office is going to be able to check that! There is no way for GWR to verify this.

GWR are on dodgy ground by not making them available more widely.

Also, whenever a ticket office is shut, they are inviting people to buy on board or at their destination.

Seems extortionate? When you can buy £10 advances

That's the point. Most Advances from the North Downs Line stations affected have been withdrawn from sale.

I can no longer buy an Advance to Gatwick from my home station (Blackwater), but some are available from Gatwick, albeit at a small discount compared with a walk up single. I probably wouldn't risk buying an Advance for the incoming leg anyway as airlines' timekeeping at Gatwick can be very poor.
