not an error. it shows up on the internal genius system tooIn error
Today or tomorrow? Not sure why but I have a sneaky suspicion one might emerge in toothpaste. I hope so anyway!
It’s just purely a hunch. I personally haven’t heard anything it just seems odd to have 3 units there for so long at what is essentially a paint shop too!Would anyone know if the units from Bournemouth have been re-liveried?

No, I meant my message was sent in error. The inf I was to post had already been posted. Apologiesnot an error. it shows up on the internal genius system too
That’s fair. Fingers crossed we see a nice retro liveryIt’s just purely a hunch. I personally haven’t heard anything it just seems odd to have 3 units there for so long at what is essentially a paint shop too!
Fingers crossed though, would be lovely! And if one was granted two wishes, one in stagecoach too!
One car in each livery? (Blue/grey, NSE, early Stagecoach, red Stagecoach)That’s fair. Fingers crossed we see a nice retro livery
Has returned back to the depot due to floodingIt looks like 455870 is returning straight back from Bournemouth with long term absentee 455727

Let's hope at least one car is painted in Sealink livery then.Has returned back to the depot due to flooding
Hopefully they'll run a VSTP tommorow up to Wimbledon . If it doesn't run I doubt SWR will have stock for the farewell tours.Has returned back to the depot due to flooding
I thought about this possibility and I don’t think it would look all that. You kinda want the upsweeps liveries of NSE and Stagecoach at the unit ends if so. One whole train side NSE and one side B/G or Stagecoach would be niceOne car in each livery? (Blue/grey, NSE, early Stagecoach, red Stagecoach)
If the units don’t make it to Wimbledon then it won’t be a problem because only 1 pair of 455s are booked for service on Sunday and the following 455s are still serviceable so there shouldn’t be a lack of stock.Hopefully they'll run a VSTP tommorow up to Wimbledon . Could be more the fact that those units may be absolute s holes inside. No doubt the tour units have been deep cleanedIf the units don’t make it to Wimbledon then it won’t be a problem because only 1 pair of 455s are booked for service on Sunday and the following 455s are still serviceable so there shouldn’t be a lack of stock.
5710, 5716(D exam) 5719, 5721, 5729, 5732, 5737, 5870, 5871 and 5873.
5712 + 5717 (both at Bournemouth as previously mentioned) are marked as 'Tour' in a scene from Geoff Marshall's latest video. Seems a bit of a coincidence but the date is 10/12 so maybe completely unrelated?Would anyone know if the units from Bournemouth have been re-liveried?

Has it been confirmed where the road movements are going, EMR Kingsbury and Wards Ilkeston have both been mentioned, but looking on Google Earth, the Wards site at Ilkeston does not look to be suitable for scrapping rolling stock, but I could be wrong !There are some images on YouTube of 2 455 cars loaded on road trailers at Litchurch Lane ready for their final journey. The numbers are unknown but both cars are heavily "decorated ".
A real shame. But I understand the logic and the cost being prohibitive.455727 is still SWT red, but does have circular ‘Class 455 Farewell 1983 to 2025’ logos beneath the cab drop light windows, in a similar style to the designs used in the tour publicity (SWT orange/red/blue colours and with an NSE logo).
