I must remember the 16.02.. Not likely to catch a later one.Indeed, and those 24 diagrams already include 5x 10 car sets off STP in the evening. 1602/1732/1735/1835/1902.

ThanksThe current weekday diagrams are below (in the spoiler to avoid cluttering up the thread), but I can't guarantee they will be 810 operated. You can search up the headcodes on RTT on the day to see what's allocated

Yes although no gen on when the third diagram starts yetWould the plan be to run a 3rd diagram once a fourth 'passenger ready' unit is accepted? Always leaving one in reserve?
I am sure I've seen something that gave a date in January 2026.Yes although no gen on when the third diagram starts yet
Due to arrive Etches Park monday 15th011 hasn't arrived yet
There isn’t anything in RTT yet to that effect. There are daytime paths (which I assume to be for 810011 following on from its overnight testing this week) from Merchant Park Sidings to York, and from York back to Darlington on the morning of Monday 15th, but no further paths have yet appeared, whether to return again to Merchant Park or send it on to Etches Park.Due to arrive Etches Park monday 15th
I’m not certain the rollout will be quite that rapid yet. I read somewhere (Moderm Railways?) that the aim was to have 5 in service (or 5 diagrams?) by the end of the first quarter of 2026. I also separately read that the delivery of 011/012/013 was being prioritised, presumably to meet that timescale, possibly also to cover the return of 222s. This is just what I have read and I don’t have any inside knowledge - no doubt somebody will set the record straight if I am wrong or plans have changed. This is great news. I am assuming a new unit will be arriving every two weeks or so? Do we know how many have been built so far?
That is pretty much spot on. 222003/004 leave us in the next month or so, so 810011/12/13 will cover for that making sure there is no shortfall. The majority of the 810s should arrive en masse as we go into summer 2026I’m not certain the rollout will be quite that rapid yet. Looks like they ran it non stop Notts to Leicester to catch up time due to a previous delayAt the second time of asking, the kids and I managed to reach Market Harborough this evening (on 810006) in order to experience the power changeover. Absolutely seamless, the only sign being the air con powering down for several seconds.
One thing that I did wonder on a separate note, though, is that when we arrived back in Loughborough, we saw 810012 (on 1B94) pass through the station even though it was scheduled to call there - it also skipped Beeston and East Midlands Parkway. Did it do this to catch up time or was there some sort or capacity limit?
Many thanks. That does make sense seeing as, when we were waiting at Loughborough for 006 to arrive, we kept hearing announcements that 012 was delayed between Market Harborough and Leicester for an unspecified reason. That service was late to arrive into Nottingham, leading to a knock-on delay for its journey back to STP (and hence, as you say, non stop running between Nottingham and Leicester).Looks like they ran it non stop Notts to Leicester to catch up time due to a previous delay
Pantograph failing to register that it had lowered at the changeover point, requiring an unscheduled stop to examine, confirm lowered (it had) and seek authority to proceed. Believed to be a dodgy sensor somewhere. Many thanks. Might have 013 arriving first thing January, not sure about 014-019, have seen a picture of 020 with all the coaches not yet connected together at newton.011 hasn't arrived yet
So two Saturday diagrams today.
Diagrams 13/12/25 - These are different to usual due to diverts up the Erewash, meaning 1F40 and 1C68 will not call at Derby. @AndrewJM70 @tram21 hope this answers your questions

How embarrassing for him. Delighted to hear it.Successfully booted out a Senior railcard holder who pretended he didn't know he was in first class when challenged, despite having spoken to me on boarding about "how nice these trains were in first class".
Many thanks for that - at least these things are being discovered now whilst in the introductory stages and then iron them out once fully bedded in.Pantograph failing to register that it had lowered at the changeover point, requiring an unscheduled stop to examine, confirm lowered (it had) and seek authority to proceed. Forgot to ask in my reply: will this be deployed as a regular method to catch up time or was it done by exception?Looks like they ran it non stop Notts to Leicester to catch up time due to a previous delay
It does seem to being used more often by EMR to make up time. Its not a 'new tactic' but to avoid delays all day it is used quite a bit. Depends on the individual circumstances really.Forgot to ask in my reply: will this be deployed as a regular method to catch up time or was it done by exception?
When the Nottingham stopper is running late it's usual to make it express to Nottingham from Leicester. Passengers for Loughborough and E.M.Parkway are advised to change to the immediately following Sheffield (which is also a stopper on the service pattern ). Beeston passengers are advised to stay on the train to Nottingham, and remain on it when it returns towards London, to travel to Beeston - the down 'stopper' forms the next up 'stopper'.Many thanks for that - at least these things are being discovered now whilst in the introductory stages and then iron them out once fully bedded in.

The worry is that people will think that, any time there is a delay, there is no guarantee their train will make its scheduled call and they might have a long wait until the next one!
I remember once when a Lincoln-Leicester 170 skipped Attenborough and it would have been ages until the next scheduled call - to the point that, by going one stop in the opposite direction and coming back on myself, it saved half an hour.
