My apologies! I had not realised it had been introduced so quickly.
The diagrams are in place for Saturdays and Sundays, this weekend just gone we only saw an 810 on Saturday but as said that will only be because of engineering works, so hopefully this Sunday should see one pop upWhat are the chances we get a SO/SU service by the end of January?
Any idea how ready 810 012 is away from appearing into service. And any news on what's happened to 810 006. I'm wondering if the traction issues at both Loughborough and Chesterfield starting from both stations either broke something or indicate an issue with the traction control system that is taking a while to resolve. The diagrams are in place for Saturdays and Sundays, this weekend just gone we only saw an 810 on Saturday but as said that will only be because of engineering works, so hopefully this Sunday should see one pop up

Will this be 810007?
Whatever it is, the sequence of workings seems to end up back at Merchant Park5Q58 Merchants Park - Doncaster booked to run tonight.

Unfortunately the toilets aren’t working apparentlyJust now at St Pancras 810010 on the 2232 Sheffield service
What *none* of them? At this time of night, when people may well have been drinking, and the first stop is Leicester?Just now at St Pancras 810010 on the 2232 Sheffield service

It's only an hour to Leicester and there's toilets on the platform. What *none* of them? At this time of night, when people may well have been drinking, and the first stop is Leicester?
"I'm desperate for ****!"
"We'll miss the train if you go now, you can go on board in five minutes!"
I hope they've got a bucket. Or two.
We were booked on it but EMR emailed us as we have assisted boarding on transferred us to the Nottingham train a few minutes later. I was all for trying out the 810 but my other half preferred a train with working loos for some reason. It's only an hour to Leicester and there's toilets on the platform.
Not ideal but the other option would be cancelling it completely

Because 10 has toilet issues now810006 seems to be rostered for the diagram starting with 1C17 0700 Sheffield to St Pancras tomorrow.
007 is no where near ready yet discussed on posts #5212-5214.5Q58 Merchants Park - Doncaster booked to run tonight.

Toilets are probably locked at that time of the night /morning at Leicester. It's only an hour to Leicester and there's toilets on the platform.

It's a unit which is fully fitted with its interior. So what the issue with this unit is, is unknown, most likely a rewire.007 is no where near ready yet discussed on posts #5212-5214.
Not a single toilet working?Just now at St Pancras 810010 on the 2232 Sheffield service

And even if they were not, the service didn't stop for long enough to use the toilet and rejoin what was the last service through to Sheffield, so if you were going beyond Derby and had to go at Leicester, you had a choice of wetting your pants or stranding yourself.Toilets are probably locked at that time of the night /morning at Leicester.
No. During normal service power changeover is carried out manually. There are "Goalkeeper" balises to do it automatically should a Driver fail to make the change at the required location, but then it will be "tea and biscuits" in the Manager's office.I thought the changeover was planned to be automatic using baliases?
Looks like two planned in service today, 010 is already in London after working 0549 NOT-STP and 006 is showing as working 5Z32 XEP-STP to form 1132 to SheffieldWhile one unit is in service the idea is for 006 and 010 to alternate each day for now
Correct. Nice to see they've managed it. Hopefully the third diagram becomes 810 soonLooks like two planned in service today, 010 is already in London after working 0549 NOT-STP and 006 is showing as working 5Z32 XEP-STP to form 1132 to Sheffield
Shouldn’t be too long until 810012 & 011 is ready to be accepted for service.Correct. Nice to see they've managed it. Hopefully the third diagram becomes 810 soon
None. How many intercity (STP-Shenfield/Nottingham) diagrams are there in total?
Presume 006 wasn't ready for start of that diagramLooks like two planned in service today, 010 is already in London after working 0549 NOT-STP and 006 is showing as working 5Z32 XEP-STP to form 1132 to Sheffield

I hope to catch one of the 810's from Nottingham southwards on a weekday soon3 seven car and 21 five car diagrams
The current weekday diagrams are below (in the spoiler to avoid cluttering up the thread), but I can't guarantee they will be 810 operated. You can search up the headcodes on RTT on the day to see what's allocatedI hope to catch one of the 810's from Nottingham southwards on a weekday soon
I am unsure how to identify the diagrams running them currently
Do I need the WTT and a daily list of appropriate diagrams to work this out ?
All advice gratefully accepted
