Given the possible disruption due to heavy rain in Devon and Cornwall, I'm surprised that GWR has yet to put anything on its website:

Storm Bram could cut off South West communities and cause a "danger to life" because of flooding, forecasters have said.

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for rain covering parts of Devon and Cornwall from 00:00 to 10:00 GMT on Tuesday as the named storm is expected to cause disruption.

It said about 100mm (4in) of rain could fall in a few exposed areas within the warning zone, which is mainly focused on Dartmoor and part of east Cornwall including Launceston and Callington.

Lower level weather warnings for rain and wind from the Met Office remain in place for the region starting at 18:00 and 22:00 respectively.

Most likely tracking it to get the most up today's information.
If I recall, one of the other recent past storms, Avanti put a load of disruption information out day before storm and had to keep amending it as the storm kept altering.

The very strong winds, and storm centre is now expected to be off the west coast of Scotland.

There is possibility of heavy rain over SW moors and higher elevation inland parts of South Wales.

Both are areas that see higher winds and rainfall regularly, and tend to have few trees which could fall blocking lines, so perhaps taking a wait and see what actually happens approach.

Fairly strong southerly winds (40mph +) are forecast for Tuesday in Hampshire. Although few trees now have any leaf cover, the change of wind direction (from the usual W or SW) may find a few new loose light structures to blow onto rail lines.

The strong winds aren’t likely to be too much of an issue, they’re well off to the west. Here in IOM we’ll have gale force winds but only for a bit.

We have a red warning out for coastal overtopping though, as the wind hits at the same time as high tide.

I’d expect disruption on the Kyle line.

Anywhere else will depend on the rain. Here the land is already saturated. Assume it’s the same in the north west of England, so won’t be surprised if lines get shut due to flooding.

Due to the strong winds and heavy rain that #StormBram is expected to bring, speed restrictions will be in place on a number of routes causing some delays and the following services will be revised.

South Wales to London Paddington and vice versa thinned out to hourly. Already diverted Cornwall to Paddington going via "Box" (Bath/Chippenham line not stopping) vice "Hullavington" (Bristol Parkway/Wootton Bassett junction line). Both due to anticipated flooding at Chipping Sodbury tunnel on Bristol Parkway to Wootton Bassett line.

There were cancellations and running only to Abercynon instead of Aberdare this afternoon.

I made the mistake of taking the 3 minute run to Ninian Park from Cardiff Central (to view Canton depot), hoping to return 20 mins later. Instead I had an hour wait for the 1548 which was a further 16 mins late with 756114. The 1518 departure from Ninian Park was showing as cancelled but 756108 crossed over in the station and started its run from there but didn’t let any of us stranded passengers on!

When I got back to Cardiff there was congestion at platforms 7 and 8 with trains backing up.

Looking at Avanti's journey check site, can see some of their remaining services this evening as operating between Glasgow Central and Carlisle only, some between Carlisle and Preston only, and others as just between Preston and London Euston. Trains from Edinburgh Waverley for Carlisle and beyond also affected.

This was at Tebay due to flooding on the up. You went via the goods loop. Which involved crossing over the down. This was resolved at around 12pm with normal working resumed. The site of the derailment is open normally, with a temporary speed restriction and has been since 2 days after the derailment.

I didn't see what Avanti were showing but some of the disruption wasn't quite as bad as it looks on RTT. 1S69 is shown as cancelled from Carlisle to Glasgow, but in fact continued as 1Z69 with the same intended timetable - actually arriving Glsgow 80 minutes late. From the announcements I heard (I joined at Carlisle) passengers had been warned earlier that the train would terminate at Carlisle, but that had been revised before the train arrived there

Just from RTT, it looks like there have been some issues due to stock and/or staff being displaced. E.g. 1M10 ex GLC "cancelled between Glasgow and Preston due to high winds", but 9M53 running as scheduled from Glasgow to Preston only a few minutes later than 1M10 should have done. So presumably that should be taken as "cancelled due to yesterday's high winds"
