Oh bless you, did you pass SBI?
Hopefully your shifts are at different times so you can take turns in childcare (if thats what works for you
of course). I totally get what you mean, just going through with it to see if and what works.

I wonder how open people are to swapping day shifts to evening shifts and vice versa, if swapping shifts is a thing?
Yeah I passed it all just waiting for a training date!

Yea im guessing I made a couple of errors. No not heard anything from REED. I’ve got aug/sept in my head for training lol. Based on last years wait. But who knows
I'm in the same boat as you, got my conditional offer a month ago, returned all the documents the following day. I've not received anything from REED yet. Does anyone know roughly how long I should expect to wait or is that the 'how long is a piece of string' question?

AC2 on 3rd October, conditional offer on 9th October x
Oh that’s fantastic! not even a week, you must have really impressed them!

Also, I spoke to a few CSA’s and CSA SRT friend, they said it’s common to have couples working, if the managers nice, depending on availability, people with kids can do opposite shifts (one person does dead lates while the other does dead earlies) so it works out with childcare, it just mean theres less family time but i feel like thats the case anyway as working mum lol :( x

I’m not sure, I haven’t had a call/email saying it’s done yet, just know it’s in the process

I got the good news yesterday!!

I haven’t received the REED link but from what I can see in the thread, it will come in the next couple of days. I was curious with the referencing, at which point are current/previous employers contacted? Currently trying to figure out when to break the news to them.

Congrats !!!!

I wouldn’t break the new until you’ve got a training date tbh. Depending on what company you work for (big or small), on the REED link they may be able to auto fill the details for the reference and so it will go direct to your company’s general HR team rather than you having to send direct to your line manager etc.

They started contacting my references as soon as I completed the form, there is a tick box on there that asks if your happy for them to make contact straight away

ok this makes sense!
So if they’re doing your referencing now, they won’t need to do it again later you reckon?
As I know with DBS and d&a testing, it’s only valid for 6 months, hoping you don’t have to wait that long to start your training!

Curious to know if anyone from the most recent campaign have given training dates yet :?:

Will I be able to do part time CSA2 on the weekends if I decide to go university in sep 2026?

I don't want to waste this opportunnity but I also want to get a degree.

Start the role full time then nominate for part time roles but I think it is a bit of a wait mate

I’ve received an email today from high campaigns asking me to send over my passport again, nominee proof - again and 2 other things. I’ve done all this already. It’s not the same as the previous email with all the other bits. Is this normal? I’m pretty sure I done it all correctly the first time.
hey, i’m going to assume you’ve resent your documents, have they come back to say it’s all ok? If so, how long was the turnaround time from when you had sent it?

this role is quite full on and demanding with the hours, I also can’t imagine the shift work working alongside lectures, although I’m aware alot of uni material is available online. Your uni attendance will probably take a hit, should you take the csa 2 role on and it, from the looks of it, it can take years for pt position to come up.
