I wonder if they are going to try and fit the 19xxx with stop screens and announcements and same with the remaindering envrios200 that already dont have them.

In Grimsby, 19007 hasn't tracked since back end of October, and is currently parked up in 'laid-up lane'" round the back of the depot, though it's boxing 26273 in at present. Also observed an Enviro400 in the newer version of Interconnect purple livery in depot, but it wasn't a clear view to make out the type (Scania, Dennis etc) nor could I make out the tiny fleet numbers!
As ever, I'm not on the inside, so these are only observations, I don't have access to any "gen" etc.

Candidates are 15510 (FX09 DAA) having not tracked since July, 15616 (OU10 BGO) having not tracked since 25th November or 15809 (FX12 BBN) having not tracked since 15th November. All are Scania Envrio 400s and are in the recent interconnect livery
It could be playing 26255 on us

26270 is a Grimsby vehicle in Hull until it swaps back with 22776 as 26270 failed on the 250 on Saturday
26255 was briefly out yesterday and looks to break down then 26270 appeared so you could be right
Today 26255 is out on 7/8 no sign of 26270
Looks to be on the 3 again today
Grimsby look to have had some breakdowns on their longer distance routes. 26270 on the 250 now running in Hull until swapped and 27645 which failed yesterday on the 53 which is now operating in Lincoln, whilst 27634 is operating a Grimsby based 53 diagram

22776 is operating the 250/251 again circuit since it's swap with 26270 on Saturday, would expect the vehicles to swap over in Hull

24196, 24197 and 24198 are the CONFIRMED ones at Mansfield (24199 and 24200 could be next)
So unless Mansfield keep them, only 27184/27185/27186 are left to transfer, along with 19634 (as someone keeps saying)
26172 is tracking in Scunthorpe today aswell on the 3/6/7/8 stuff.

If it gave a significant increase in seating capacity it might make sense, but it's only 3 or 4 extra seats per bus, so it doesn't!
(From an enthusiast and slightly selfish point of view, the "endangered species" often have a way of migrating to Grimsby, long may it continue!)

Whilst personally I don’t believe this is true and have heard nothing about it, what do you think happened in hull when the 26’s went to Grimsby? We got a load of old stuff. Can’t see this happening though

One of our leading engineers is off to run grimsby in January, still can’t see it though

Had some official info hull are only getting 6 Scanias they be only on 111 (3 buses) and 350 (3 buses) obviously one 350 card does 4/6 before 350
Regarding 27's there still 3 more to come from Mansfield then that is it
When Scanias go on Hull 350 duties then the 26's will go on the 11's (3 buses)
This info has come from another contact I still have at the depot

So will the Scanias do H0401 then?
I hope they do because it would be nice to see a Scania on the 4 instead of the usual MAN E300s and E400 Tridents (or my enemy; E400MMCs)
As for them being on 350 that sounds pretty stupid considering they don't have USBs or modern tech unlike the younger E200MMCs.

One of the 111 vehicles M-F is a double deck as it does school runs in Beverley. Seems unlikely that they will make that a single deck given it's been a double since the route began.
