Hello, currently a trainee driver for SWR. Looking for some advice on where I can get some route maps put together in a separate and orderly way. I don’t have the time or facilities at home to print my own, and separate them all for each of the routes I’ll be driving. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

You should be provided with any necessary materials. A forum probably can’t help with up to date materials. Speak to your line manager or trainer/ instructor

You will be granted access to Track Access which will have all of that.

Worth asking someone at your Depot, they may be willing to print some for you, or they already have them ready.

It's been a few months so I've gone through it this evening and made some updates. Some of this is based on logic and the passage of time, and some from details helpfully passed on to me from others, so as always please let me know if I've made any mistakes - and thank you to all who help keep this list going.

The changes I've made are as follows:

Chiltern - added MKV DT training to Stourbridge and Marylebone depots.
Great Northern - changed 379 from training to in service for all depots that I understand will sign them (Cambridge, Hitchin, Hornsey (link dependant), Kings Cross, Kings Lynn and Peterborough)
GWR - added Bristol to Exeter for Paddington GWR (thank you @800301 ) . Added Bristol Parkway to Bristol TM for Worcester GWR (thank you @class ep-09 )
Northern - changed 323 from training to in service for Buxton. Changed 333 from training to in service for Doncaster
Scotrail - added in details for new depot at Millerhill
Thameslink - changed "soon to learn" to currently signing St Pancras - Welwyn Garden City for Ashford
Transport for Wales - added 756 to "training to start soon" for Cardiff Mainline, changed "route learning soon" to currently signing Central Rivers TMD for Crewe, deleted Tyseley TMD for Shrewsbury
West Midlands Trains - added 730 to Coventry

One to amend: SWR London Waterloo to Guildford via Cobham for Fratton drivers is no longer link dependent.

This recent document i obtained may be of use to provide some other updates for SWR drivers.

On the traction tab the top is drivers and the middle is commercial guards and the bottom is metro guards.

On the route tab anything with the two digit depot code and no other letter means that all drivers and guards based there sign it. Anything with "D" after it means only drivers sign it. Anything with "C" after it means only commercial guards sign it. Anything with "G" after it means only metro guards sign it.

Anything in green means all sign it. Anything in orange means most but not all sign it. Anything in red means only a small amount sign it. Although note that the 701 will soon turn from red to orange to green for most depots if not already.

Thanks very much for this, I'll have to sit down and go through it properly at some stage and check everything is still up to date on the list here.

Birmingham Camp Hill line services are due to start in March 2026. The work will be shared between Worcester & Birmingham New St.

Training is due to start next month for New St depot, once the New St Instructors have been trained on the route by Worcester instructors. That’s due to take place early December once some final testing has took place.

Services will hopefully start late March 2026

Slight update, from the December Timetable change, Boston Drivers will be working one extended service to Cleethorpes a day meaning they now sign Cleethorpes.

That is excellent, thanks for sharing. Really interesting to see number of crew at each depot too, some are different to what I expected.

If you are doing changes then it might be worth mentioning Scotrail Aberdeen depot now only do Inverkeithing to Cowdenbeath and back rather than the full Fife circle route.

Exeter has lost all Cornwall work to Penzance and work beyond Bristol to Cardiff. Still have the rest I believe.
Thanks to all of the above, all changes have been added (plus some additional changes at GWR brought to my attention privately)

Thanks, have added this in as well. It did surprise me somewhat as I'd always assumed Aberdeen's knowledge of the Fife Circle was diversionary rather than them working regular services over it but obviously that wasn't the case.
Incidentally, do you or anybody else know if Tweedbank still sign the Fife Circle? I was led to believe they did when the depot first opened, but I didn't hear anything about them signing Leven (which I assume is also the stumbling block towards Aberdeen retaining it's Fife Circle work?) when that opened.

I think Aberdeen used to have full Fife circle jobs before I started but now there is only a couple of Cowdenbeaths. I don't know what Tweedbank cover but I am 99.9% certain the only depots that sign the Leven line are Leven, Edinburgh and Perth.

Probably could add 810 traction to the EMR list now. Signed by a handful of drivers at St Pancras , Kettering and Derby.

A bit pedantic but the Overground in post #1 hasn't been updated to include Barking Riverside
