Carriage 2's universal toilet is occupied, carriage 3's universal toilet is not occupied, and carriage 4's non-universal toilet is not occupiedBit blurred, sorry, but can anyone tell me what this is supposed to mean? Obviously to do with toilets, and maybe 1 is occupied and 2 are available, but I couldn't understand where these toilets were supposed to be from looking at this graphic.

It is not clear at all!TFL?
Anyway, looks clear enough to me. You are in a 5-carriage train, 2+3 coupled together.
2-carriage unit leading, you are in the front carriage, it does not have a toilet. Rear carriage toilet occupied.
3-carriage unit trailing, toilets in front 2 carriages free, no toilet in rear carriage.
I guess whoever designed the display must have mis-read their audience! If it was clear enough they wouldn't be revamping the screens!
If it does represent a five coach train (2+3), why does it show the two units as if they're side by side, with no indication of front and rear? The screen is wide enough to show the five coaches in line without significantly reducing the size of each graphic.TFL?

As OP, you can edit the thread title.TFW of course, I keep on mixing it up with TFL.

Do you know if there is any plans to bring back some of the announcements, I know people found them annoying but the Stadler announcements make so much more sense the way their done, never understand why CAF lacks the whole 'the next stop is...', the point in a next-stop system is to let you know destination and next calling point, strange you have to wait for the approaching announcement to get the next-stop in my opinion? The screens are being revamped so they actually make it clear what they are showing. Last I heard it was to be rolled out in the new year.
I've always found this strange on the 197s. There are things that Elin (for example) can say that she doesn't say on the 197s, like "this train is for..." and "the next stop is..."Do you know if there is any plans to bring back some of the announcements, I know people found them annoying but the Stadler announcements make so much more sense the way their done, never understand why CAF lacks the whole 'the next stop is...', the point in a next-stop system is to let you know destination and next calling point, strange you have to wait for the approaching announcement to get the next-stop in my opinion?
Yeah exactly, it's really strange, all of the modern TfW fleet to my knowledge uses the same announcement systems as well so it's strange the 197s are lacking this where the Stadlers (and assume to be 398s) have.I've always found this strange on the 197s.
