It's not the hardest thing I've done, the good thing about these PCBs from the early 90's is that they are no where as near complicated as PCBs today!Crikey. That’s a monumental challenge you’ve set yourself.
Does the intellectual property for the original ”Jasmin Electronics” PIS still exist somewhere?
With these it's just about following each trace and drawing them in the software (KiCad).
Jasmin Electronics was bought by KeTech, however the PCBs (inside the internal display) have "Hamlet Circuits BBT" stickers which after a bit of internet searching was an actual company however it was dissolved quite a while ago.
Even if the intellectual property for them still exists, for now I'm recreating this just for me which I'm fairly sure there is no harm in doing!
This does now beg the question, does KeTech still have technical drawings for these?
