Did you ask for feedback on why you failed the DMI?
usually the DMI is the easier part of the process. Seen as more of a 'cool down' compared to the stress and pressures of the OPC assessments and MMI.
Failed my DMI this week to! I thought i did ok, was pretty chilled… Awaiting feedback So will see.
was a while since I did mine but prep yourself for making yourself accountable, reliable, responsible for everything safety related, customer focused etc. think of examples you can use to give them when asked and think about how you can relate these to a train drive role.
Also think about process and procedures you carry out on a daily basis - especially imagine that you’ve got to deal with an emergency situation and what you would do afterwards (log it, report it to the correct people etc.)
Other than that mine was fairly relaxed it wasn’t like the MMI, sort of a general chit chat and they gave me plenty of time to think about my answers.

Does anyone know if the assessment centres can actually tell you what you scored on your tests out of curiosity? Just to see how well you have done rather than to compare with other ppl
I don’t believe so, I got a general idea of how I did but they’ll never give you you’re actual marks on a test from what I understand.

For which depot if you don't mind me asking?
Had my medical this morning. Can confirm I had an ECG. Did question why it isn’t on the paperwork and they don’t really know.

lol just realised, what’s up with your username, trying to act as my double haha
They won’t disclose this information, and here’s why: unfortunately, some companies (which I won’t name, TOCs who conduct their tests in-house) adjust their pass rates depending on the number of applicants taking the tests. This means the required score can vary, someone might fail with an 80% score, while another candidate at a different time could pass with 70%.
For this reason, I don’t recommend applying to TOCs that conduct their assessments entirely “in-house.”
Some people may disagree with me, but this is how the system works

Well done if you' ve had the email inviting you to online interview! Anyone who put Westbury as their first choice heard anything? I've put BTM as my second. I'm assuming the longer it goes on, the less likely I've got through. Good luck all

Hey, if they reject you, they will tell you. I applied with GWR before and last time it took over 8 months from application to be invited to video interview so stick with it.

Out of curiosity, for the "non-commutable shift times", does anyone know if GWR Paddington and/or HEX Paddington have staff parking and/or a taxi agreement in place?
Also, do either have a london weighting as part of their remuneration package?

He applied for Heathrow Express in their recent campaign last month. Apparently on the day of his interview he has to wait under a clock on a specific platform
All seems a bit Harry Potter-ish the way he described it.
