A bridge from nowhere to nowhere! Can't be more than a handful (if that) people ever use it? Can't even think the Estate would have need for access.
Access into Rannoch Forest from the open moor to the West? Annual footfall, though, must be the best part of almost nothing.

it’s a footbridge just over two kms south of Rannoch across the Feith Bhuidhe - still from a network rail cabride
[wrong photo ☹️]
Sorry folks, I put up the wrong pic. this is just about 600m from Rannoch Station, no track leading to it from either side.
This is the bridge in question, another still from the same cab ride.

Your remarks go for this one all the same:IMG_1557.jpeg

Was this the "correct" old bridge? Photo, from the Geograph site, is supposedly from 2012 and the bridge looks rather 'weathered'!

This is the “wrong” bridge

Both stills are part of this cab ride, sorry don’t know the date, but seems to be later than the one on Geograph
- at 1’09” & 2’59”

Thanks Struner - you spoil me with a photo.... !

Essan,

Is probably half right - I was trying to figure out if it might be a crossing for the West Highland Way. If it is, you may be surprised how often it's used....
