I can't imagine any passengers checking for a logo to make sure they're travelling on the right train, certainly not anyone outside enthusiast circles.

At the risk of steering this thread off-topic… units operating services whilst carrying the wrong operator branding remains a big problem on GTR.
In areas where there is a) a frequent service with known stopping patterns and b) single operator tickets you can bet your life there will be. Admittedly the issue (… what do you mean - my tickets not valid as this is an XYZR service and my ticket’s GWR only? The train’s got GWR plastered all over outside) would be a different one from that which could arise with the 175s.
175007 is out today (07/11/2025). It looks like it's supposed to be on 5Z12 (0626 Plymouth - Plymouth via Newton Abbot and Penzance), but it's been shuttling in and out of one of the sidings (I don't know where it's been going to/from) by platform 4 for some time now. OpenTrainTimes shows this (11:22 a.m.):
(I assume 5Z77 is the 175, having just left the station again - it's gone off Mount Gould Jn./Friary way.)

Yes I noticed that. I expect it's because 007 keeps going in and out of the siding so it might be a reminder for the signaller perhaps? I note that the unit has just returned to the station.

Why would a reminder to the signaller be on OpenTrainTimes? Does OTT take its data feed directly from the signalling without any edits/redactions at all, given that's an odd note?
Yes, the signalling maps show what is inserted in the berth. Notes like this can be useful and of interest.

The thread here might help explain that info that signallers add as notes or reminders generally does appear on the usual mapping sites such as opentraintimes and traksy:

I was on Traksy while i was tracking a train and on the signal berth after Sandwich platform 2 there was "TEST" it disappeared just after, not sure what it means. Another code i'm wondering what it is this: "RUST" "TREE". Its always there when i check it but if anyone knows what it means thank...

No new paths (yet) from Wolverton to Laira.
I assume tomorrow's path Wolverton-Exeter is a 150.
Guessing at some stage deliveries of 175s from Wolverton will speed up, if they continue at current rate of only every 3-4 weeks, it will be mid 2027 by time all are done.

150232. Is there a 150 thread? Is this the missing one that will make up Exeter compliment to 20?
There’s not much point rushing to send everything down until what they’ve got can start to displace other stock, otherwise where do you put it all? Get enough there to optimise training etc then wait till you can start “one in one out”.

There are 6 175s at Laira; two refurbished. I am sure a HST diagram will be replaced soon by a 175. Today the 175 included Exeter in it's trips.

Matter of waiting for when they're absolutely ready. I feel as if it will likely be within the upcoming weeks to allow a phased introduction and to make sure enough units can replace the very limited HST diagrams left. (I'm not local to the area, but I'm sure it's 3 diagrams?) There's only about a month left for the Castles!

The main issue is lack of crew that sign them, there are now GWR drivers and guards that are passed out on them, but not many at all, they're definitely not where they wanted to be on this yet. Hopefully they can be drip feed into service from the December timetable change, but don't hold your breath.
175007 (I assume - couldn't see the number) and 175114 are out today (12/11/2025) - currently on 5Z12 0626 Plymouth - Plymouth (via Newton Abbot and Penzance).
