67010 + HD03 out on a test run this evening to Hereford and back 5C52/5C53. This is after some electrical gremlins this morning (and yesterday) forcing it to be failed on 1W11 today.

Hoping there’ll be a 292 (225+67 (will it catch on?!)) on the 1053 from Cardiff - what are the odds?

The all day and lunch/dinner menus currently. I had the breakfast roll which was delicious and I thought cracking value. First class was probably half full from Cardiff to Shrewsbury, complete with an excited young spotter with his go pro suckered on the window!

I've always been a big fan of Gerald/now TFW First Class food, although personally I think the First Class 3 course menu is a little uninspiring compared with other dishes they've featured on the menu.
Having said that, I think the lighter "All Day Bites" menu is very good.

If you ask me, the odds of seeing an InterCity 225 (IC225 for short) on a TfW service this year are zero; because an IC225 includes a class 91 locomotive. An IC225 with the class 91 removed is no longer an IC225; just a rake of mark 4 coaches (including a DVT).

Does anything know if 1V50 (1630 from Manchester to Swansea/Cardiff) is running as a MkIV today? Not showing as an option on Seat frog
