Great job with all the info, I’m enjoying your posts.

Three small corrections though:

68025 Carlisle Kingmoor TMD

Because modern trains have led lighting these days yellow fronts aren't a requirement anymore hence why we are seeing less of it now.

But aren't trains without a yellow front subject to severe speed restrictions if the lights fail?

It's mainly passenger operators who seem to want to go down this route - apart from the Class 99 no FOC liveries omit the yellow panel, even on new locos or ones retrofitted with the latest lights.

We've had numerous trains across the national network without yellow panels for years now. It's obviously not a big issue.
Its not a big issue.

The individuals on here who complain about trains not having a yellow front end being a safety issue have got to be very carefully what they wish for. Anyone for Flying Scotsman, Sir Nigel and alike having a yellow front end as thats what's your wishing for.

The reality is a total headlight failure regardless of traction and colour of front is 20mph maximum even with a bardic lamp or torch. High speeds require a portable headlight.

Modern LED headlights are so bright it wouldn't matter if the front of the train had the property's of a black hole, they cannot be missed with those headlights.

Shall we continue with the introduction of MK5's into to Chiltern Railways.

Just seen 5Q10 and pretty sure it was 68032. The locomotive and coaching stock are in the new livery.

The very same locomotives didn't have yellow panels when they worked for TPE. It's not even new to these locos, let alone across the network

Confirmed as 68032, any help with the coaching stock much appreciated

Thank you, I thought that was still at Banbury Depot! Looks like it’s on its way to Stourbridge as 3T08 now.

EDIT: Can anyone confirm the set, I think it’s CH13?

Note how the front disabled and bike stickers have been removed.
Image shows 68032 and what is assumed to be CH13 in the new ‘blue stripes’ Chiltern railways livery.

Now confirmed repainted sets are CH05 (Eastleigh) and CH13 (Stourbridge)

I hesitate to mention it but there was a longsight tmd > le > long marston > ecs > longsight tmd move earlier today See RTT for details. Possibly more coming out to play?

No, I think the loco is just backwards for some reason.

The loco is technically the right way round but the livery isn't, which was an odd decision. The light blue is on the no2 end.

I’m hoping this is something they’ll change as they vinyl up the other sets… I hope I’m not the only one bothered by this

68014 is definitely out on the Princes Risborough commuter, I can’t confirm the diagram will continue tonight as it could be 68009 instead.

I’ve added mk5 driver training sets. 68032 is out today

Can anyone confirm the current formation of CH02 ?.
Could Driving Trailer 12814 have been replaced by 12802 (yet/ever) ?.

I think 12802 was used as something of a ‘Christmas Tree’ and I understand it is awaiting parts from Spain.
