I’m just wondering
Tbh my first interview was supposed to be 5th September. But it got delayed 3 weeks because of train strikes. So I would have done my SBI/roleplay too already. As always, those who score higher will generally be invited to assessments sooner whilst the benchmarks for each intake are worked out - it isn’t an exact science.
There are still people waiting for start dates from previous campaigns, and you will certainly have a wait measured in months if you are successful. This is not unusual for railway jobs.
You find out on day 1 or 2. They give you a chance to swap with someone else in your group but it has to be mutual and has to be done by the end of that day.Hey just a question for people that have already started training. Did you find out where you’ll be based on day 1 and has everyone been happy with where they’re based?

Hey. Do you remember the questions they asked? A rough idea to help me? Thanks!Yes, the same 5/6 questions.
FYI- There are different SBI, so all the questions will be different to each one.Hey. Do you remember the questions they asked? A rough idea to help me? Thanks!
I was just wondering how long did you have to wait to find out you had passed your SBI? I took mine on Tuesday last week and noticed someone else in the group who did there assessment on Tuesday as well got an email on Thursday to say they hadn’t passed .Still waiting for my start date, got offered role in May, but the onboarding process took ages.

Do they really tell you there and thenI was told on the same day that I had passed, but it then took almost 4 weeks to get the official letter.
Hi, the ac1 is one day and role play & sbi are the same day, providing you pass role play.Hi everyone,
Are the AC1 Written Communication & Data Interpretation, role-play, and SBI all done on the same day? Also, is this held in Stratford?

What’s the best advice for ac1Hi, the ac1 is one day and role play & sbi are the same day, providing you pass role play.
It can be either Ashfield house or Stratford![]()
I would like to know aswell. I think you can’t prepare beforehand. You just show up and it’s all common sense. What’s the best advice for ac1

My friend just said he was unsuccessful in the AC1 … how do you pass it?

I haven’t heard anything yet did my SBI last TuesdayDid anyone pass the roleplay/SBI??? This month
Maybe it’s good news then, I think they tend to tell people news quicker if they fail.I haven’t heard anything yet did my SBI last Tuesday
Hi guys have my roleplay in a couple of days for the CSA 2 opening but can i apply for this opening aswell in the meantime or am i not allowed to ???
The training is only 4 weeks by the way so maybe do the training at least before the special day then you can take maternity leave I guess but I don’t knowGot my CSA2 offer at the end of Sept 2024 in their campaign last year, but still waiting on a training date. I rang TfL recently and they said people with Aug/early Sept offers are on the Oct courses, which matches what others have posted here, so I thought mine might be soon too.
I’ve just found out I’m pregnant (happy but unexpected news!) — only concern is if they push me to Jan/Feb 2026, I might struggle with the full 3 months’ training. Should I let TfL know so they might prioritise me, or hold off? Would really appreciate any advice. I've been so excited to join and I'm a bit worried now :/
good luck everybody who is going through the process it’s definitely worth iti got my offer in September and started this week so it should not be long until you get a callGot my CSA2 offer at the end of Sept 2024 in their campaign last year, but still waiting on a training date. Thanks for this. It's really important that real life (recent) experiences are shared, so I'm sure a lot of people will be grateful for your update.hi all thought I would put this in here I’m coming to the end of my first week for anyone that’s got the job or starting training soon. These are the tips that I would advise you know straight away. Lateness we are told from day 1 that it will not be tolerated so make sure your are not late my advice get there atleast 30 mins before! To leave you enough time to get settled and if anything goes wrong.
Second point. Take notes and listen to everything there is so much to learn but the trainers also make it fun and it’s really enjoyable but hard work is needed to pass. But as long as you have that you will be fine. I’m loving it alreadygood luck everybody who is going through the process it’s definitely worth it
