I recently went to a bus event and was slightly disappointed at the higher lever of newish stock being used for the operations, i.e. stuff from this side of the millennium.
Yes, I know it's been 25 years, but the low floor stuff all felt like vehicles which been in daily use up until recently.
I don't want to put anyone down for the organisation etc, it's a lot of hard work.
I could go back 20 years, and it felt more like buses in perseveration were a lot older. Is this just the changing of the guards? Has anyone else felt like this over the last 20-30 years?
