Looking at RTT, 1W55 is showing as a 197. Is this accurate or have they jumped the gun?

025 should go back on it tomorrow with 016 taking over as the Thunderbird after dropping HD04.at the ETD for tyre turning.
Thunderbird is now prepped but kept at ATC rather than the original plan of putting it in the station.
Why has the decision been made to keep it prepped and previously in a station? Have the mark 4s been that unreliable?

Accurate. Having the Thunderbirds has stretched the exam timings so 3 sets are maintenance/exam tomorrow leaving 3 left for service.

A precaution due to the hot weather. In the last period of heat, the locos performed dreadfully. The locos themselves seem to be behaving this time (so far)

Ah that’s a shame I’m supposed to in 1st on 1V42 from MAN. Assuming there’s no chance of an equipment swap further north?

Unfortunately not. That whole diagram is currently missing all day.

HD05 didn't make it far with door issues again on 1W65 earlier, that's the 3rd time within a week. It is, however, expected back out on 1V33 tomorrow.

Any updates on how HD02 is doing? 67014 has been down there for a while and I'm unsure if tests are being carried out!

No worries thanks for the info!
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Still down as final repairs and static tests. Currently no sign of it leaving Worksop just yet which puts it getting in before HD01 on the B exam looking less likely by the day.

Should be back soon. Should be on exam at Crewe after HD04 if I'm correct. I'm sure @sd0733 can correct if I'm wrong.

That was the hope/intention but HD04s exam is now completed and HD02 hasnt ventured anywhere out of Worksop so its not looking too promising. Theres about 14 days until 01 runs out of days so there's a little bit of a window yet but not too many days to play with.

Down to two now:

67020/HD01 on 1V91 etc.
67012/HD07 on 1W13 etc.
Oh gosh, thats poor isnt it. 2 out of 4 diagrams (which should really be 5 diagrams but one is booked for a unit).

I feel the most sympathy for people who have booked a first class ticket especially as there was a half price sale on with many tickets cheaper than advance standard class tickets for the same service. Customers should not be penalised because TFW have failed to provide the correct booked traction for the service.

The unfortunate thing is that most failures are out of their control and when they do happen it can also mess with the exam timings resulting in a situation like right now where multiple sets are stood down for exams and faults. The 67s reliability isn't helping either.

There was as least 4 sets at Crewe today. HD03/04 being two of them. Not sure on the other two.

I’m booked on the 16:43 tomorrow from Cardiff in first. Any ideas yet if that is going to be formed of a unit or not?
