It accepts the discount code, but then doesn't discount the fares. It may be something to do with me typing 'TPESTUDENT' and it correcting it to 'TPEStudent' meaning the discount code isn't correct. I'm on Android 15, not sure if it's happening on iOS too.

EDIT: After a slightly protracted conversation with TPE, it should be fixed tomorrow.

I managed to get the discount code working last week, but it seems it's single use only. I tried to book another trip today but was prompted with "You've already used this discount code". I suppose a workaround will be to create a new account.

Thankfully (for me) I learned of TrainSplit's Railcard sale by push notification. Even accounting for a 4-week overlap with my outgoing Trainline-issued Network Railcard the saving is worth it.

Do trainsplit railcards have the same issue as trainpal ones, as my new one struggled to come up earlier between Salisbury and Romsey.

Works fine now, but be good to know if I have to 'plan ahead' with it like trainpal for poor reception.

They are architected to work entirely offline (e.g. on Android they are downloaded into a SQLite database on-device); if this isn't what you're seeing happen can you drop customer services an email so we can do some digging and check your app's logs? The apps will try and update from the network where they can, but there's a fall-back that should kick in if that fails.

Awesome, thanks. The second time I used the home page shortcut it crashed saying the app has a bug and is awaiting a fix. It's worked fine since so finger crossed. The guard was able to scan it fine once it came up so hopefully just my phone.

Has anyone successfully purchased a sale ticket yet? The Summer Sale page on their website includes the following in the T&Cs - Tickets are only available to purchase online here and can also be purchased in the EMR app

However the pre-entered promotion code (SUM23) doesn't work - The promotion code entered is not valid. Please verify it is correct and try again - which suggests it was created for a previous sale.

(I tested it for St Pancras - Nottingham/Sheffield journeys (in both directions) on 6/7 August)
