Fantasy project: Replacing Glasgow Central and Queen Street with one station

Just as a bit of fun, if money was no object and there were no considerations for conservation (much like the Victorians in their era ), how and where would you go about replacing Central and Queen Street with one major hub station for central Glasgow, that would link up the South West and Western lines with the rest of the network in Scotland?

Fully replacing or integrating into a single connected entity?

If the latter, then a tunnel underneath both with a single underground station box connected into both Central and Queen Street.

If you moved say the Cathcart Circle to tram trains, they could street run into the centre to avoid Central High Level, using the Heilmans Umbrella as mid level platforms.

Glasgow Central High Level, Glasgow Central Mid Level, Glasgow Central Low Level, and Glasgow Central even friggin’ lower level!

I've often thought about a tunnel linking the two. Problem for me is where the tunnel surfaces. At the southwestern end, Kinning park, immediately to the north of Shields depot? Cardonald? Northeastern end Cadder? Petershill? Is there a bigger picture?
