I'm trying to plan out a North Country Rover trip and the terms say it is valid: By any train after 09:00 Monday to Friday.

So am I right in thinking I couldn't use it on the 09:00 Durham - York?

I assume the OP thinks that, as 0900, isn't after 9am, it isn't valid. I don't know if it is valid.

If the ticket you buy had B3 as its validity code, then the site you quote is just wrong. I suspect it will, and I doubt you’ll have a problem with the train you mention.

Because someone in a marketing department thinks that “not before” means the same as “after” but is more confusing. Lots of places get into the same muddle with age-related restrictions. The same “simplification” has introduced confusion about late-running trains by removing “timed to depart”. Your rover is, for example, not valid on the 08.45 even if it’s an hour late - but it is valid on the 09.01 even if it leaves 2 minutes early, but that’s not what the marketing implies.
