Nothing for me yet, but I completed SJT with Freightliner recently and I wonder if they're picked that up.
Has your application status changed at all if you login to their portal?

Still show the same under consideration on the portal.
I’ve in the last few months done the SJT and stage 1 which I passed, but still having to do this bit again which is annoying.

Oh I’ll do it again as I want the job. Just seems a bit silly when they want me to do it again for this application, but I still have an active one open from last round that they could call me in for to do the next stage and interview. So they already know that I’ve passed it previously. Is what it is though.

See what happens, who knows? I forgot to mention that I passed the SJT both times I did it.

Do you mean that have open applications working through the stages? Prior applications in the main expire and just like this time, it's re-advertised.
I'm guessing that they are only giving out the SJTs as and when needed this time around. It's best to just get on with things until you hear. The last times I applied It seemed that everyone got the SJT soon after.

I mean, it’s just a bunch of questions with some answers and you have to decide which one you’d respond to. Best not to overthink it.

Not sure if the upcoming change into GBR on 12th of October has any bearing, but the recruitment of more DIs at GA has been put on hold suddenly. This may affect any external recruitment too. Only announced at the end of last week.

Hey guys I’m new to the forum hello , I’ve recently applied for the Trainee mainline role at Bishops stortford and I haven’t heard anything yet either and it’s been 1 month since they closed is anyone else going crazy and keep checking the portal to see if their status of the application has changed yet. It’s killing me waiting
As dk1 said above the upcoming changes into GBR could be having an effect on recruitment. I applied a month ago today myself and my application status hasn't changed
dk1 - have you heard anything else about recruitment at GA? Do you know if any trainee train drivers have already been selected?
