No mention of one in the press release,Is there a Eurostar Premier lounge within the new terminal, and if so is it opening in this launch period or after the April shut-down?
This article (https://www.treinreiziger.nl/eerste...-gearriveerd-vanaf-2026-vijf-treinen-per-dag/) seems to have a picture of a map (from NS) which does indicate that there will be a Premier lounge. However, the article did not specify whether the lounge is ready yet or not.Is there a Eurostar Premier lounge within the new terminal, and if so is it opening in this launch period or after the April shut-down?
It seems they've forgotten more on that map, such as escalators to the platform. (From what I found online I understood they've rotated the existing stairs to the middle tunnel 180 degrees to have them end up in the new terminal)This article (https://www.treinreiziger.nl/eerste...-gearriveerd-vanaf-2026-vijf-treinen-per-dag/) seems to have a picture of a map (from NS) which does indicate that there will be a Premier lounge. Will this mean you don't have to get off for at Brussels for Passport control?NS has today posted a short 38-second video (in Dutch) of the new facilities at Amsterdam CS:
It shows security and passport control as well as the passenger waiting area.
• until March 30, Eurostar services will accommodate a maximum of 400 passengers per train from Amsterdam, representing a 10% increase
• March 30 - April 22, the terminal will be closed again to facilitate further platform renovations
• from April 22 passenger capacity will increase to 600 from Amsterdam representing a 220% increase, with a 160% increase in capacity from Rotterdam, and
• by September 2025 full capacity of up to 650 passengers from Amsterdam will be introduced.
I hope to use the Amsterdam to London service. Prices are very high at times, £195 one way.An IRJ article today has dates and capacities:

There's no increase in capacity from Rotterdam, which remains at 160 passengers, according to the NS press release, which appears to be the source. An IRJ article today has dates and capacities:

It might be worth looking at flights instead. Even with extras for baggage and pte booked seats you will probably get a better price than this.I hope to use the Amsterdam to London service. Prices are very high at times, £195 one way.
yea that makes senceThis scematic diagram of the terminal layout (from the link already mentioned above) quite clearly shows the rear part of the terminal being underneath the bridge carrying tracks 14 and 15. That old steel bridge was being refurbished as part of the current works at Amsterdam Central, so likely construction work for that part of the terminal started at a later moment and is not yet finished.
That also explains the additional capacity after the temporary stop of direct services end of March.
The business premier lounge is behind that part of the terminal (see this drawing), so cannot be used at the moment as you can't get there after passing border control (and access to the platform from the lounge is also not yet possible)
