Hi all, Can anyone shed some light on what I can expect for the stage after the structured interview (EMR)
I believe it is computer testing (concentration, hand coordination and picture test) and some form of interview, but not sure what to expect in the interview.

If you mean the driver manager interview. Can't say specifically but usually you need to do your homework. Things to include but not limited to . Depots and routes especially for the depot you will be based . Traction that's used etc. For both manager interviews I had to become a trainee and the one as a qualified driver i looked all this up as well as the amount of passenger numbers etc. Company values and visions. Maybe why you want to be a driver etc .

Sounds tough. Not sure if its a driver manager interview, I am applying for trainee depot driver. Im new to the company, and just waiting for a date for what they are calling stage 4 of the application process.
So far I have done:
Application
competency 1 test (dot test, phone book test etc.)
Assessment day
Competency based interview
NOW just waiting for next stage.

I've been in the talent pool for 18 months so far but it can vary massively

I applied for Notts, Not in the talent pool yet the though. Just passed structured interview, now waiting for a date for OPC stage 2. Im expecting this in the next month or so. Nearly there!

I did my OPC stage 2 middle of this month and have been told I’m now in the pool for a job at Kettering.

Work is pretty good. A few Sheffield jobs a few Corby jobs either two or one and a Nottingham. Couple to Derby and a couple of jobs with bits and bobs. All guarded work. Corby is six stops each way and nothing is very intensive. Can be very busy on all routes .

I haven’t asked to be honest. I expect that there might be a fairly long wait. I might check in after 6 months or so. If I get a call I will let you know.

I had tried to contact them recently, not to get an update but for an unrelated question. It took a couple of weeks but they did reply. How long ago did you email?

Kettering talent pool is going to be a while that’s for sure unfortunately. There’s 7 due to be passing out in the next few months, plus a talent pool of 4 more. So that will be a total of 44 drivers for enough work to cover 33!

I heard somebody on Kettering station is in the pool and he said he’s been told directly by a DM at Kettering that he’s not to expect anything this year I’m afraid.

The info above is correct. We're well over quota at Kettering. 44 (including trainees) drivers for 33 lines of work. Rosters been extended & split by the LDC to fit the additional drivers.

The courses for the rest of the year do not have any Kettering trainees on them so all those in the talent pool external & internal have got quite a wait unfortunately.

Ha . I covered a Kettering job last Saturday. One of our TM's in is in the pool and has been given a start date later this year.
